The abused

It takes a toll on those behind bars
Just sat in a cage watching all those cars
Wishing some day that you could be free
Although you know it will never be
That owner beats him I hear the other dogs say
They all warn each other to just stay away
I want to be free so just come and help me
We can run in those fields endlessly
We can't do that they all reply
As the humans don't like strays, they want us to die
Ok then I'll plead just please never forget
That owners like him just don't treat us right
Even if we put up a fight
They will send us down there to the place that isn't right
They'll just keep us fighting till the day that we die
And I have to hope to god that I don't have to say goodbye

I've woken up to another day
Of fighting working and wasting away
Those dogs came back again last night
But quickly ran off due to terror and fright
Some days I wish that I'd be out I the streets
sat with the homeless listening to their beats
It would be much better than this place this place reeks
of despair drugs abuse and police

I will probably Finish this soon Who knows?
