Amy's POV:

When I woke up, I expected to see Mark next to me, but he was gone. He left a note on his pillow.

Good morning babe:

My boss told me to come earlier today since I didn't go to work yesterday or the day before.
I don't have the time to call Aliyah's teacher about the incident so can you do it?

I love you <3
Mark

I checked the time on my phone, 8:30. Everyone's still sleeping, even Emma is! I'm surprised because she likes to wake up around 6 or 7.
I crawl out of the bed to take a shower. After my shower I will get dressed and feed my kids.

After my 25 minute warm shower, I change into my cropped jeans with blue Nike free runs and blue shirt. I wanted to go casual today since Signe, Jack and I take the kids to the park.

"Good morning sweetie, ready to get up?" I gently shake Aliyah's shoulder while I carry Emma against my hip.

"No! 5 more minutes!" Aliyah snaps back. My eyes immediately widen. She has never been this disrespectful to me ever since she was adopted.

"Aliyah, get up now." I raise my tone. She shakes her head. "No! I don't want to!"

"Aliyah, come on. You can take your nap later. We're going to the park." She quickly raises her head and looks at me.

"Park?"

"Yes, get up." I grab Aliyah's little hand and help her put her outfit on.
I managed to get Aliyah to wear a white shirt with a zebra on it, along with jean shorts and her black converse. And yes, she looks adorable with converse on!

Soon, i heard the waking of Emma and I gave her a bottle while I got her little body into a pink skirt with a pink striped onesie.

"Aww! Both of my girls look cute today!" I stood in awe.

then I led the girls to the kitchen and I set Emma in a highchair and Aliyah ate her toast with strawberries.

While she was eating breakfast, I got out my phone and took a picture. I put a caption: Aliyah's favorite breakfast!

Then I put it on twitter.
It soon got many likes and retweets, and for once.... no hate comments!!

I heard someone trudging up the stairs, it was Signe holding Gabriel.

"Hey Amy...Gabriel doesn't feel good. He said he has a headache and I felt his head and he has a fever." She sadly said.

"Oh no! I'm so sorry. Should we not go to the park today then?"

"We'll go, Jack will just stay behind and watch him, you and I will take the rest of the kids."

"Oh ok." I said a little happier. "I need to make a quick phone call first."

"Ok. I'll make Sam some breakfast." She walked over to the fridge.

I stepped outside of the house with my phone and dialed the teachers number. It picked up in 5 seconds.

"Hello." I started. "This is Mrs Fischbach, I need to talk to you about what my daughter said to my husband on Friday."

"Ok." Ms Bailey said. "Is it about the incident with the two girls Jessica and Sarah?"

"Yes! My daughter said that they stole a toy from her, they dumped her snack on the ground, and pushed her?"

"That is correct, my co workers put a stop to it and gave them a time out."

"But my daughter said they sat out for 10 minutes."

"It was about 15 minutes. After school I talked to their parents and they said they will have consequences for their actions."

"Oh okay, that's all I wanted to know. Thank you for your time."

"It's my pleasure Mrs Fischbach. Goodbye."

"Bye." I hung up the phone and went back inside.

At the park:

Signe and Amy watched the kids play on the bench while Emma was napping in the stroller.

"So Signe, are you and Jack planning to have any more kids?" I asked.

"Well, we want at least 3 to 4 kids." Signe looked around for Sam.

"Are you thinking about it soon?" I asked again.

"Well....Jack doesn't want to have another right now."

"Why not?"

"Jack is working so much these days and doesn't have the time right now to care for a third child." Signe explained.

"I understand that." I told her.

"Yeah, I don't think I want another right now either."

"Well, Mark and my original plan was to adopt one child, and look...we ended up with two."

"So how did you end up with Emma?" She asked.

"Aliyah wanted a little sister, and she would've been crushed when she found out I can't get pregnant."

"She's pretty damn lucky she has one." Signe said.

"Yeah, I kinda wasn't prepared to raise a little infant, but I can't do anything now." I looked down. We both continued to watch the kids until around 3. That's when we decided to go home.

A/N: sorry for the slow updates. I'll try to update more
