Georgia Johnson

I took deep breaths as I hurried to my class. I took a seat in the back. I sat whispering calming things to myself. I then see a shadow over my desk.

I look up at Alexander.

"What's wrong?"he said curiously.

"N-Nothing"I lie through my teeth.

"Fio-"he starts.

"It was just a panic attack. Calm down"I say interrupting him.

"Alright"

Then he sits in the front.

"Alright class, today we start a new project"Mr. Welkinsin said.

Everyone grunted.

"Alright, Alright. In this project you will get a partner. You will learn about each other and make a PowerPoint presentation on them. As many things as they allow in there project. You must have pictures in the PowerPoint of them when they were little and now. It's due in one week. This will be 75% of you're grade"he says to us. I sigh and get out my school computer.

"Alright the partners for this time is:

Vanessa and Gina.

John and Ally.

Haleigh and Ryleigh

Alexander and Georgia"

My hand tightens on my desk.

"Whose Georgia?"Alexander asked.

I gulp something down in my throat.

"I am"I say.

"I thought you were Fiona"

"I am. They got my name wrong"I lie through my teeth.

"Oh. Well then"

"Yeah"

"Full Name?"

"Alexander Walker"

I write that in a notebook.

"What's Yours?"

"Fiona Johnson"

"Alright"

He writes it down and looks back at me. His blue eyes studying me.

"Age?"I ask.

"17"

I write that down.

"I'm 17, too"

"Where do you want to meet for the video recording?"he asked.

"I don't know"I say honestly. I didn't know any of the places around here.

"The Carnival?"he says.

"Where's that?"I asked curiously.

"I'll take you there"he says.

"Alright. I'll drop my car at my house and walk back to school"

"Why don't I just pick you up?"

"Um well..."

"Never mind. Meet you at 4:00. Don't dress so"he pauses looking for a word.

"Fancy?"

"Yeah, fancy"

"Alright"

The bell rang.

"See ya!"he said running out.

I fill my plate up with fries and a cheeseburger. I look around for a place to sit, when I see John and the others waving at me.

I walk to the table. I sit across from John.

"Hey Fi!"he says already giving me a nickname.

"Hey,...Jo"I say.

"Wassup, Fi"Alen asked.

"The ceiling"I say.

"Nice"John says.

"What you doing this afternoon?"Adam asked.

"Um...going to the carnival"

"Can I come?"John asked.

"Um sure if Alexander doesn't mind"

"What!"John said.

"Yeah. We're going for a project"

"Nice when?"

"We're meeting at school at 4. Ask him first though"I say.

On cue Alexander walks up and sits beside me.

"Can I go to the carnival with you?"John and Adam ask.

"Sure, matter-of-fact bring whoever you want"Alexander says.

"We'll be there"John says.
