GunPowder and Tears

Ch 1. The Beginning

It had started out as a normal day. It happened during 6th period, science.We were working on our group projects for science fair, I was working with my two friends/group members. One was Ashley Figueroa, a girl much smaller then me with long brown hair that reached a little below her shoulders. And then there was Angel Rivera.

He was really short compared to most students and he bearly came up to the base of my boobs. I suddenly had to use the restroom BADLY. I rised from my seat and walked over to my science teacher who was talking to another group. At first I didn't care until I heard his voice.

It was Joshua Sandoval, my middle school crush since the previous year when we were 7th graders. I already came to the realization that I will never be anything to him and it hurt but it was the truth, so i had to suck it up.

Joshua was a boy of tremendous height. He had dark skin, similar to just about everyone in this school. I, having nearly been the only white girl in a school filled with Hispanic kids and Blacks, was a real struggle. But fortunately, it seems they come to deal with my slightly unwanted white ass.

He had short brownish/black hair just like every other guy in this school, with brown eyes. (a/n: im bad with describing people, don't hurt me plz ಥ_ಥ)

I waited for my teacher to finish talking to my crush and his group before they walked away. I asked my teacher if I could leave. After he agreed, I turned to head towards the door to the classroom and grabbed a clipboard with the hall pass for the class and left. I went to the main building to the side of the prison building as i called it. It was a plain red bricked building with lockers lining the walls around with plain red doors, and a metal stair case going up the side facing towards the auditorium, lunch area, and the music room.

I entered the hallway to the main building on the 3rd floor. The walls and lockers were painted blue. the blue signifies the classes are for 8th graders mostly,i walled to the front of a blue door that had a sign that said "Girls". i pushed down the door handle and it didn't move,Damn,it's locked i growled and i knew the 2nd floor girl's restroom would to be locked so i had to go to the outside restroom near the lunch eating area.

I made my way down the main staircase of the main buliding that lead you to the attendance office,main office etc,etc.I heard some voices come from my right,i turned and looked.i saw the schools  assistant principle,the dean and two L.A.U.S.D police officers talking to this man that looked like he wasn't leaving any time soon.I didn't think much of it,i walked straight ahead and out too big doors to outside.

I turned to my left and walled down some steps before i made it to the little sitting area near the music room,i walled past it and kept walking untill i heard some screaming,they weren't pubescent screams,thats what got my attention.i heard gun shots go off,i ran towards the door to the main bulding again,as i got inside the hall way,i saw blood,Lots of blood.The strange man was eating the neck out of our assistant pricipal,the two officers had their guns aiming at the strange man,but to scared to shoot."WHY DONT YOU SHOOT HIM ALREADY?!"i screamed at the officers,one jumped from the high pich of my voice,and pulled the trigger,it hit the shoulder of the man,the shot man looked at the officer that shot him,he got up from our assistant pricipal and ran towards the officer,he shot the man mutipal times but his didnt stop,he bit into the officer's neck,he screamed and fell to the floor,he went to attack the other living officer and succeeded,the man that was pracitally immortal to bullets looked at me,and charged at me,that was my cue to RUN.I ran as fast as my legs could take me,i made b-line to the red bricked buliding again and climed the metal stairs and the blood thirsty man kinda far away,i made it to the top and looked down,i saw him struggle to make it to the top,i speed walked to another stair case to my left and took that to the 3rd floor,i soon made it back to my class,i was trying to catch my breath,i slowly walked back to my table and sat down.Trying to prosses what the achual fuck just happen,Ashley noticed my lack of talking and the fact i was paler then snow its self,and shaking."Hey you okay katherine?"ashely asked with worry laceing her voice and her faical expression showed the same.I was about to talk before i was interuped by the PA."Please exauce me for this interuption!Teachers please do not allow any students to leave the class room under any circumstances,we are under lock down,i repeat we are under!-"
