7th Chapter

Minyoung's POV

I couldn’t keep up with my heart’s thumping. I slowly opened the door. And I’m so relieved it’s not Bomi-unnie.

“I’m here to deliver the patient’s lunch. May I come inside?”said the nurse.

“Ah. It’s okay. I’ll be the one to bring it to him,” I uttered. Then she passed it over to me.

“Xiumi---Minseok-ssi, wake up.” I stated as I tried to wake him up.

Then he slowly opened his eyes. I couldn’t call him by his name Xiumin ‘cause we were not even that close so it’ll be awkward if he heard me saying XIUMIN.

“You should eat now in order for you to gain strength”—me

Inside my mind, my fangirling mode was turned on. I was like eottokhae,eottokhae, what should I do. Will I feed him or not? But it’ll be embarrassing. But he can’t even lift up his hand so I have decided.

“Is it okay if I will be the one to feed you?”---I nervously said and gulped.

His complete silence must mean yes. So I did it.

“Xium—ahh..Minseok-ssi, thi-this. Please eat this.” So I put my hand with a spoon near his mouth and he ate it. Kyahhhhh…So cute. His baozi face makes me want to hug him tight. His face was all so poker, but I’m contented to see him eat what I fed him.

He finished it all and rest his head after. I carried the tray to put it outside. I opened the door and I was surprised to see someone standing there. Surprised, I dropped the tray. It’s…

“L, wh-why are you here?” I stuttered on my words.

His face looked angry. I, myself, couldn’t even move by the sudden situation.

“I thought you were sick? What are you doing here? Is he here? “—he raised his voice.

“Wh-who? What do you mean?”—me

He pushed me aside and entered the room. He looked like he was about to punch Xiumin when he saw him there lying on the bed.

“L, let me explain. He collapsed because he had a cold. Please..please..don’t hurt him.”I said as I was about to cry.

Then he turned his face towards me,“It’s not because you’re with him. It’s because you lied to me. I treated you like a little sister. WE TREATED YOU LIKE A LITTLE SISTER.” I couldn’t talk back. And I felt my tears streaming down my face.

“Noona told me she found you here, and you even lied to her saying our professor ordered you to come and get something here. I came as soon as the classes ended. And look what I’ve found!” he left after saying those words and banged the door.

I cried in front of Xiumin. I couldn’t hold it.

“Min young…”—Xiumin

I looked at him straightly in the eye. He tried to lift his body and he did it.

“Come here..There’s something I want to give you, as an apology and to thank you for taking care of me.”—xiumin

Then I slowly went to him with my eyes still as blury as ever because of the tears. When I finally stood near him, he pulled my hand and gave me a hug. Then slowly, slowly, my tears stopped to drop. He continued to hug me until he didn’t heard me hiccup.
