"So, what are you all doing out here?" This was his Danny's attempt at making conversation. He had already been socially awkward back when he was alive and after spending so long with only Grimm for company he hadn't gotten much better.

"Seriously Danny? That's it? Crap now they're just staring, but hey at least they're not attacking. Plus what kind of fake name is Dan?! That's as bad as just changing my last name to phantom when I went ghost! Man Sam and tucker were right, I do suck with names." These were the thoughts running through his head as he had internal break down.

During this he didn't notice that after several minutes of him both him and the teens just standing that one of them was approaching. Apparently the first to brake out of her shock a ginger haired girl zipped over to him. At this Danny as well as everyone's snapped back to reality as the orange haired girl started poking his face.

"Wha-eh-hey! Cut that out!" The young spirit cried in indignation but to no avail as the girl continued to satisfy her curiosity.

"Whoooaa, hey guys you have come feel his face, it's so cool!" She the started moving her hands through his hair, Danny quickly willing it to become harmless as to not burn her. "Ooh! His hair feels so weird and tingly too! You guys have to check this out!" She cried with no regards to the ghost child's squirming she held him place.

Before Danny knew it the two blondes and the red hooded girl started to poke and prod him too, all while commenting on his looks. "Yang look at his fangs! They're real!" "You think that's cool, look at his ears, they're so point Ruby! They're like from one of those fantasy books" "Woah, your outfit looks so cool!" Were some of them, the last one from the blond guy looking at his cloak.

The ghost child couldn't help the sweat drop that ran the down the back of his neck. He was expecting them to either run away from him or attack him. Not to be man handled by three of the teams that he practically felt molested.

"Will you all get off!" Finally having enough of it the ghost child pushed the three kids off of him. Realizing his discomfort the two leaders of their perspective teams began apologizing, except for Nora. Nora was tugging Rens sleeve and pointing at his hair, chattering excitedly as the young gunman listened to her al while maintaining a wary eye on "Dan", just as the other girls were doing.

"Sorry, sorry, we were just surprised with how you...um... your looks." The young reaper explained as she realized how rude that might sound. Quickly trying to remove the focus off of herself Ruby looked to Jaune for help.

Quickly stepping forward to the rescue Jaune reintroduced himself, "So, you already now my name so let me introduce you to the rest. This is Ruby, those three over their are her team, Weiss, Blake and her sister Yang." He pointed to each girl as he said their names, "And these three are my team, Pyrrha, Ren and Nora. Me and and Ruby are the leaders and we're here because of the strange activity here lately. Do you know about it?" As the kind young knight asked this he was oblivious to Danny inner turmoil.

...Crap, of course people would eventually notice all the destruction done to the forest. "Man, I really am an idiot. I didn't think anyone would notice it this far from the city's." He had thought that no one would notice as he trained his new powers. "Aw man they're staring. Come on come on, say something."

"... maybe?" "Aaah! You freakin idiot, that's it!"

Luckily "Dan" was saved as one of the girls, Pyrrha if he remembered correctly, stepped forward.

"Pardon, but would you please come with us and answer some question. I assure we mean no harm to you, we simply desire answers." The red haired champion asked politely with a kind and wise smile. This did not calm Danny down however since at the thought of going with them made him nervous.

It was nothing against them, well not entirely that is. It was the fact that they were going to escort and probably have him questioned by some higher up of some kind. He is more than well aware of just how offsetting his new looks are, they're reactions, while better than most, still proved that. Heck even he still got shocked by his own looks on occasion when seeing his reflection.

Plus this was just his looks, they are already aware that he's not normal. He did use some of his powers in front of them after all. But they did not even know what he even was though, and memories of the people of amity parks reaction to ghost made him reluctant to reveal his nature to people. It was enough that he looked like a monster, it wouldn't help if revealed that he technically was. Do people in this world consider ghost as monsters?

Snapping out of his musings Dan quickly looked over all of them. They obviously were intent of bringing him with them despite their claims of being peaceful. They seemed friendly enough though so he didn't think they would try anything too bad. Plus maybe it was about time he tried to fully inturgrate himself into this worlds society, finally get actual food and a bed to sleep in.

...Even though he no longer needed either of those things anymore, being dead kinda meant you no longer needed to worry about survival. Whatever, he missed the taste of food and the feeling of having a safe place to sleep, plus living out in the forest can be pretty boring. Aw what the heck, of worse comes to worst he'll just escape easy. He was pretty sure this world had no ghosts, therefore no ecto-weapons to be used on him.

Coming to a decision the ghost teen agreed, "Alright, I'll come with you guy's, but where exactly are we gonna be going?" If he was gonna go he wanted to at least know where he was being taken to.

Pleased at the lack of resistance the young hunters and huntresses relaxed. This time the blond girl, Yang, stepped forward. With a smug smirk and practically radiating confidence she draped her arm over his shoulder, taking care of avoiding his flames. "All right, nice to meet you blue, as for where we're going, it's only the best combat school in all the kingdoms. You are gonna love seeing beacon academy."

And so marked the beginning of "Dans" new life.

Or well afterlife really.

Important message below

Yeah, so I failed to update last month like I said I would, sorry about that. I'd also like to apologize about this chapter being shorter than the others. I'll try to make the next chapter the same length as the others.
Also, I'm not sure how others do this but I want make a pairing for this but I'm not sure who Danny should end up with. That's why I'm leaving the decision up to you guy's.
Basically how this is gonna work is like this. You guys can message me on who you want Danny to end up with, I'll tally up the votes and make decision with the majority vote. I haven't come up with a specific date for when I stopped taking in the votes so I'll just update she it's over.

Rules
1. No yaoi (boy on boy) romance. Nothing against it, just that I'm not into it.

2. Every person can only vote once, so no repeatedly sending messages trying to get your favorite girl to be picked.

3. Danny will only have one girl. This won't be a harem.

Yeah so that's it, the romance won't start until way later on so no rush.
