"Excuse me?!" I glared at my mother, "Please tell me, you did not just say that!"
My mum smiled weakly, "Sweetie, it won't be that bad... It's only two years!"
My eyes widened at her words, "Only. Two. YEARS?!" I shrieked, "I don't know about you mother, but for me, two years is an extremely long time!"
She cringed under my words, my glare cutting her like a knife "Well, yes... But it's for the best Em! Trust me, two years will fly by and before you know it, you'll be back!"
"I. Don't. Want. To. Leave." I hissed, "Why is that so hard for you to understand? And anyway, I'm not going anywhere with an aunt who I didn't know existed til," I glanced at my watch, "Precisely 10 minutes ago!"
I glanced at my, newly discovered, Aunt Kelly who grinned lazily at me, "Kiddo, it doesn't matter whether you scream, sulk or throw a tantrum, you're coming with me either way,"
I growled, muttering curses under my breath, before turning back to my mum, "Please mum!" I begged, "You can't do this to me! I need to be here!"
"Oh changing tactic, are we? I like it!" My aunt laughed lightly.
"Dad?! Please! Don't make me go with her!"
My father sighed, rubbing his eyes wearily, "Emily honey, it's for the best! Please! Trust us,"
I looked at him imploringly, "Then tell me why! Why I've got to go! Tell me why I never knew she," I pointed at my aunt with disgust, "existed! Tell me why it's for the best! Give me answers!"
"We can't sweetheart, but please..."
"No!" I interrupted him, "Don't ask me to trust you, cos I don't! And you can't make me!" I turned to my aunt, "And if you think I'm going anywhere with you, you're stupider than you look!" And with that I stormed out of the room, slamming the door behind me, and, without doubt, cracking a good deal of plaster of the walls.
