"I want you, son, to go out into the world and learn more than I can teach you. But, also so that you can learn how human's think and act, so that you can become a better man than I have ." The man finishes, pronouncing each word perfectly. The boy beside him, who has been silent for some time, speaks up.

"I do what you do, to become a Man of the Woods. Not a," he pauses trying to find the right words, "Not a sissy little school boy."

"As I said before, you'll be a better man if you know how people think and also less noticeable if you know what school is like."

The boy sighs, he never usually dissagrees with his father. "Isn't it more important to learn new skills? To improve my techniques?"

"You'll learn how others think, is that not a new skill?" The man inquires.

"Well... I suppose. But when would we train?"

"We can train after you're done school each day," The man says, starting to become annoyed with the pointless questions. The boy opens his mouth to speak once more but was quickly cut off,

"Enough with the questions, you will go, and you will learn." The man strictly informs, meaning to end the discussion there. The boy nods, father knows best, he should listen. The man smiles,

"Good, now come child, let us use the last hours of daylight to practice some more." The boy nods again and follows his father out of the little log cabin, and down a path into a more secluded part of the darkening woods.
