Hello, everyone! ♥ This "Part One" of my short story will be published here; I had a really good idea! I really want this to be the way the manga goes with the whole Tartarus Arc; who else agrees it's going unbareably slow? xc Plus, Lucy really needs a time to kick some ass right about now, right?! Anyways, this is what I believe should happen with what is currently going on in the manga chapters of Fairy Tail! ♥ Thanks to fairytailnalu1 for giving me the idea of publishing my idea as an actual short story!
I dedicate this "Part One" to thatyanderechick! I hope you all enjoy this first part, hehe! I apolgize for not updating "You're Lucy of Fairy Tail" yet! I don't know when I'll be able to, because in my house we are installing new carpet, lol! Anyways, feedback is greatly appreciated, and thanks for reading! Lisanna froze in surprise, her expression shocked. Natsu gave her a questioning look and paused from his struggling against his binds, and maneuvered around so he faced the front of the cell. His eyes widened as well, and as he looked out the cell to see someone he least expected.
Lucy stood on the opposite side of the cell, her back straight and commanding though her eyes looked slightly deprived. It was as if she was slightly different, but still the same Lucy that Natsu knew.
A thin whisp of air whisked by Lucy's feet, as if shock was presenting itself through the air.
"Lucy!" Natsu exclaimed, surprise yet excitement on his face. "What're you doing here?!"
"Be careful, Lucy!" Lisanna urged. "There are guards everywh--"
Lisanna was interrupted as Lucy simply placed her hands on the cold steel bars that separated her from her fellow comrades, and they both watched in awe as Lucy simply melted the metal bars away, letting a fresh gate of freedom open in front of Natsu and Lisanna's eyes.
"How did you...?" Lisanna replied, but she wandered off as Lucy dropped down next to both of them, handing back their original clothes.
"My scarf!" Natsu exclaimed in delight, but looked in slight surprise as Lucy easily removed the chains with a snap on his wrists.
As Lucy moved to Lisanna, still silent, Lisanna watched Lucy in relief. When they were both dressed, Lucy looked at both of them with almost a pained expression, but then it blanked again and she walked towards the exit of the cell.
"Oi, wait a minute, Luce!" Natsu exclaimed, scrambling after her. "How'd you get here without being caught?"
Lucy turned around to face him abruptly, her expression hard. "You go find Erza. Lisanna, go look for Mira."
Lisanna looked surprised at first, but then she nodded with a determined expression. "Right. I'll be careful."
Natsu's expression of confusion only grew, and he stopped Lucy by grabbing her shoulder. "Lucy, what's wrong? You don't seem like yourself!" Natsu protested, looking slightly concerned.
"Natsu, do not fight any of these mages," Lucy replied mysteriously, her voice sounding slightly like it wasn't her own. "Leave that to me. Go find Erza, and free her; the others are waiting for you, so don't stray from your purpose." To emphazise her point, Lucy handed clothes to Natsu that must have been for Erza if needed.
