Chapter 7-Jealousy

(W/n)'s POV

As soon as I heard that (y/n) had been injured, I pushed my way through the crowd of my fellow students and made a beeline for the infirmary.

The rest of the gang were already there, talking to Kid and (y/n).
"(Y/n!) Are you alright?! I swear I'll kill Medusa with my bare hands!" I shouted.

"She's fine. I protected her.." Kid rasped as he laid in the bed.

This made me very angry. I became even angrier when Kid and my beloved (y/n) shared a glance.

"Well, if I had been there, I could've helped (y/n) defeat Medusa! And both of us would have been fine!" I seethed.

"Dude, calm down!" Soul exclaimed, holding me back. "It doesn't matter who protected (y/n)! All that matters is that Kid and (y/n) are alright!"

Crona merely nodded in agreement along with eager nods from Black Star, Tsubaki, Maka, and even (y/n).

"But..but.." I stuttered. "It does matter... because.. I love-" I was cut off by the door slamming open.

"Alright kids, visiting hours are over!" The nurse declared, ushering us out of the infirmary. "Kid and (y/n) need to rest!"

I got one last glance at (y/n), a strange burning in my heart. I'm sorry I couldn't be there to protect you...

Kid's POV
I opened my eyes, the wounds from the glass still stinging. I looked over to the bed to the right, seeing (y/n)'s beautiful sleeping face. She had a small scratch on her cheek. I smiled as I watched her sleep like an angel.

She opened her heart-stopping (e/c) eyes, and let out a little yawn. Her face flushed when she noticed me watching her.

I felt my face heat up. "Uh-um.. (y/n), I'm sorry.." I stuttered, looking away.

She softly giggled. "It's ok," she replied. "Do you feel better?" She asked, sitting up.

"Yeah. Do you?" I questioned her.

"I'm feeling much better," she murmured, catching my gaze.

I became lost in her eyes, a ocean of  sparkling (e/c).

"Um...Kid.." (y/n) began, blushing. "I want to thank you for saving me. If you hadn't been there.." she broke off, tearing up.

"I'd do anything for you, (y/n)," I replied, smiling.

~A Few Days Later~

(Y/n)'s POV

We were finally discharged from the infirmary. The gang was going to have a party for Kid and me to celebrate. Unfortunately, my weapon wasn't going to be there.

We were sitting on Kid's black and white couch, thinking of a game to play.

"Hm.. what about truth or dare?" Tsubaki suggested.

"Sounds good to me," everyone agreed in unison.

"Alright, you'll start Tsubaki," Maka murmured.
