Burning permanent

Disgusted I shrivel
Shrinking out of my skin
I seep into the ground
waiting to take root in the broken cracks
My body twists
broken bones lay open
Splayed across the pavement
My skin marks like chalk
Flowing from the open wounds
My blood paints
Like char my body marks
Leaving dark pigments across the concrete
Never allowing for darkness to erase me
I burn permanent.
