Authors note- hello and welcome to my story. I can  understand if you don't want to read this, that's ok. But this story really means a lot to me, as I can relate to a lot of this type of stuff that goes on in this story. Well, just read, and you'll find out.

"Hi! My name is gumball watterson! I'm originally from brooksville, Florida and I like playing any sport that I want to and I wanna learn and make friends!"

The class of  1st graders stared intently at him. Each of them sat at their own separate beige colored desk, wondering who he was and why he moved here.

This new student, Gumball Watterson, moved here to California because his parents said that somebody went "bye bye" and he wouldn't be seeing who ever it was in the circumstance again. He wasn't dumb though, in fact, he knew someone close to him passed away. He was sad about it, but what could he do. He couldn't pull out a want and make whoever it was magically appear again. When your dead, your dead. You can't do anything else about it, except mourn them.

Gumball looked at all the unfamiliar faces, forgetting he lost his reality again, and slowly went back to his seat. He watched all the attentive 8/9 year olds slouching in their seat stare at him as he walked pass them. The teacher watched him take his seat, and turned back around to teach the class.

Gumball knew that because someone passed away wasn't the only excuse. One night he "over heard" his parents talking his bedroom. Gumball heard them arguing rather loudly about financial issues, unpaid bills, and even maybe going bankrupt. Of course he didn't know what those kinds of things were back when he was more little than his current age, but he slowly grew to understand more about it and the world. Neither did his parents ever pay any attention to him, only very occasionally.

Gumball slouched in his chair, boredom showing on his face. He noticed that there were books on the wall, only one wall. The teacher only wrote with white chalk, had few fun things around the class, and didn't even have carpets for them. She repeatedly talked about the subject in a boring manner, and barely let anyone use the restroom. Judging by his observations, he could tell this class would be a living nightmare. He wanted to be just like his dad when he grew up, a vigilant spy. This is why he made so many observations, and was absolutely astonishing at sneaking around and spying.  His dad was but a low class spy. So he didn't get paid a large amount like most people. His mom worked long hours as a biologist. She soon would get a larger pay check, judging from what he heard around. So that means more fundamentals in the family.

It sucked. He was on a strict "low budget diet". He could only get two meals a day from this point in his family life. Breakfast and dinner. His stomach always grumbled lowly at lunch. His friends wondered why at his old school. Speaking of friends, I better go make some.

Gumball drifted off to sleep in class. He woke up with a startled start as the bell rung filling his ears with a loud buzz. Gumball exited the classroom and walked down the hall  ever so silently going to lunch. The halls were filled with chatter among the bunch of students walking to lunch. After being shoved a couple of times, Gumball eventually made it to the lunch room. His eyes scanned the room for anyone that seemed or looked friendly in any way. They stopped on a couple of boys in the middle table. Courage filling the mind, he walked over to them and stopped about a foot short.

"What's up, mind if I sit here?"

The boys locked eyes for a few moments, and one of them smiled and said "Sure, I don't see why not."

Gumball naturally smiled back with his purely white teeth and took a seat down at the table.  Gumball noticed that one of them was a yellow banana. "Strange..." he thought. Then his eyes traveled over and noticed a sort of rainbow fluff ball sitting directly next to him.

They all talked the rest of lunch about sports, their life, and other things that grabbed all of their interest.
The rest of the day was rather interesting for him he would say. After lunch, he stayed in that particular classroom assigned to him for about 4 more hours. At the end of the day, he was tired, worn out, and just about ready to go home. He said goodbye to the friends he made, waving at them while walking backwards.

His home was only about a 20 minute walk from the school he was assigned to. It's not like his parents cared where he was or when he was home. Gumball exited the school building gliding down the stairs with soft giddy steps landing softly. He noticed an alleyway behind the school, signaling that there could be a temporary shortcut leading to his house.  Silently and stealthily, he ran to the alley way.

The alleyway didn't have a twitch of sound coming from it, only coming from the occasional rat or trash can bumped by something, creating a loud thud. And somehow right at that instant, which was creepy, he was grabbed by a cold white hand coming from the darkness of the walkway. The person had a grip around his head. The person turned and gripped a tight headlock. Just when he felt like he was about to pass out, feeling woozy and lightheaded, The person pushed Gumball toward the other wall and He slammed against the wall, knocking the air out of him. Gumball slowly got up, using his hands as a stand.

Gumball coughed heavily finding hard to breath. "Who are y-you?" He said softly. The bright blue feline looked up to see a big kid with a bomb for a head, a look of wicked was on the guys face.

"The names Robert, and you're on my damn territory. So you're gonna get your ass whooped" he said with hate filling his eyes.

There was one other person there that looked like a brown grizzly bear with a fedora on, a look of pure anger on his face as well.

"And this my partner, Phil"

The bear nodded, glaring at the feline. Gumball was feeling terrified right now, none the less he couldn't do anything as he was cornered with his back against the wall. The bully's started to close in on Gumball. Gumball noticed something bulging out of Roberts pocket. It was a knife. Now he was absolutely terrified of these guys.

In a quick instant, Phil swung his fist at Gumballs face but with quick reflexes, Gumball jumped cautiously to the side as Phil's fist came crashing into the brick wall. It soon started to bleed. "YOU'LL GET IT NOW YOU DAMN CAT" roared Phil, laying on the ground holding his fist in pain starting to bandage it up with some cloth from his pocket .

Unfortunately for Gumball, Robert was stealthily sneaking up behind him with his knife gripped in his hand, ready to attack with a massive blood strike. Quickly Robert put his knife up to Gumball's neck. Gumball slightly jumped. He was scared out of his mind right now, wondering if he was going to die.

Without expectation from the feline, Robert felt a surge of adrenaline rush through him and without thinking, stabbed Gumball with the knife, right in his lower shoulder. It felt like a 8 inch knife even though it was only a 3 inch one. Gumball had a shocked look on his face. A huge pang of pain shot through his arm. The pain was unbearable. It felt like he was being pounded with a fist a thousand times. And the worst thought was that he would die alone, trapped, silent in an alleyway. He weakened, collapsing on the ground. His vision started to blur. He could see the bully's running away, afraid that they would get caught and turned in.

He felt himself rapidly loosing blood, not able to get up, almost as if he was inseparable to the earth. Stuck to the cold hard ground, waiting for death. In his blurry vision, he could see a girl running up to him. He felt her cold hand on his arm. Just before anything else happened, that he could see, he couldn't take it and he passed out from bleeding.
