A/N: Hi guys so I notice there was almost no Hugo crossovers and being such a fan of the movie I was pretty sad about that so I decided to make my own. Hope you enjoy this Doctor who and Hugo Crossover one shot, feel free to give me constructive criticism but please no flames :)

It was 5am when Hugo awoke like he did every morning. After all with his Uncle gone, probably passed out drunk somewhere, someone had to reset and maintain the clocks of the station. So with a tired sigh Hugo dragged himself out of bed, tossing the covers carelessly to the side. He then proceeded to get dressed in a long sleeved light brown top with blue and red horizontal strips, along with a brow jacket, shorts and old shoes. Before checking the time on the pocked watch his Uncle had stolen from his father's shop, when he was first brought to the station to live. After he was dressed he looked sadly at the automaton, a machine that he and his father had been working hard to repair and now with his father gone he alone continued to tirelessly repair. Tearing his gaze from the machine, Hugo quickly combed his longish dark brown hair, before going about his morning routine of resetting the clocks, stealing breakfast from the station bakery and gathering parts from the toy shop all the while dodging the Station Inspector.

With his morning routine complete Hugo returned to his home in the walls through an air vent being careful not to be spotted by anyone. Once he reached his room he opened up his notebook that had previously belonged to his father and set to work on the automaton, using the new parts he had gathered. Hugo continued to do this for the rest of the day; his hands in constant motion, while his striking blue eyes occasionally looked over his father's notes to ensure he wasn't forgetting about anything. After Hugo used up the last of his parts he decided to test it out to make sure every was working as it should, so with fingers crossed he activated the automaton, keeping a close eye on the mechanisms as they began working.

"Yes", he quietly cheered smiling proudly

It was only then however that he noticed how late it had gotten; quickly Hugo checked his pocket watch before running to check on the clocks. But this time as he was checking the tower clock he noticed something strange, in front of the Station was a blue box. A blue box that he was positive wasn't there this morning nor any other day, 'so what was it doing there?' Hugo asked himself. Deciding to be brave Hugo hastily made his way down the tower, through the station and out the front door. Before walking over to the blue box, but as Hugo drew closer he notice that it had the words 'POLICE PUBLIC CALL BOX' written along the top. Hugo hesitated 'what if someone is inside and they catch me, I'll be sent to the orphanage' Hugo thought to himself frowning. 'But if I don't check it out now I won't be able to later' so steeling his resolve Hugo slowly crept over, then pressing his back to the box' he lifted his hand and knocked on the door.

Almost immediately the door swung open to reveal a strange looking man with messy hair, wearing a brown trench coat and suit with a tie. Hugo fell over in surprise

"Who are you?" Hugo asked frightened his voice quivering slightly

'Why hello there I'm the Doctor" the man now known as the Doctor responded holding out his hand for Hugo to take.

But little did the frightened Hugo know at the time, that by taking the hand of this stranger he was not only going to go on the biggest adventure in his life time but also gain the family he has wanted ever since his father was taken from him.
