The morning went by pretty slow and when the lunch boom came everything went at a fast pace. I couldn't wait to go on lunch break. I was pretty hungry and my feet were starting to hurt. The end of the lunch crowd was beginning to drift out.
"He's back." Kelsey said as she nodded in the direction of 'his' booth. I gulped and started walking over to it.
"Back again are we?"
"Yes, now I'll take a double cheeseburger no onions with fries and orange soda." He said with a wave of the hand.
I wrote down the order before turning on my heel and placed the ticket on the counter. I grabbed the glass and filled it with ice and soda. Taking a straw out of my pouch and carrying the glass to him.
"Here."
"Oh Ana, I need you to remember what all my orders are because I'll start calling them 'my regular' or 'usual' or just something along those lines." He said coldly.
"Whatever you say Mr. Styles."
"How'd you find out my name? I don't recall giving it to you." He said looking up at me.
"I don't recall you giving it to me either. I just have my ways, that's all you need to know." I said flipping my hair off my shoulder and walking off.
I only came back to his table once his food was done. He didn't even mutter a 'thanks' because he's too rude.
When I went back to his booth, it was just like last time he was gone.
The rest of the day went by fast and when I finally got off it was at least 5. I was beat and starving. Why did I work around food when I know I'm always hungry.
I clocked out and grabbed my things. Walking out to the parking lot where my car was parked. Getting in I decided on just some random deli for dinner. Finding the closest one I turned into a spot to get a sandwich.
After ordering and receiving my food I started to open the bag. As I made my home I munched on the chips I'd picked out. When I parked in my garage I got out grabbing my drink and bag before locking the car doors. Shuffling everything through my hands trying to free one so I could open the door I heard a voice.
"Here let me get that door for you." A deep voice said.
"Um thanks." I said as the man opened the door. He was handsome and his smile was accentuated with a dimple. I wondered what his name was.
"Its Aiden." He said with a smirk. Damn. I must've said my thoughts aloud. "Your name?"
"Ana. It's Ana." I said walking through the door to make my way to my condo.
"Well Ana, are you new to these condos?" he said catching up to me.
"Yes, how could you tell?" I asked as we stepped onto the elevator pressing our floor buttons.
"Well my boyfriend and I have been living here for one year now and I've never seen you before."
Boyfriend?
"Yes I'm gay. I know it's hard to believe with my banging looks but I am. Sorry but I don't play for your team." He said with a laugh making me laugh along.
"And here I was thinking I had a chance." I said in mock defeat.
"Not in this lifetime." He said with a laugh as the elevator dinged announcing the arrival to his floor. "Well see you around."
When I finally reached my kitchen I had eaten all my chips. I knew I should've gotten a larger bag.
