Parents have the greatest influence on their children's eating patterns.  Parents should make their children aware that fruit, vegetables, grains and milk belong to the good food group and should be consumed regularly.  Sweet food such as occasional treats.  Parents have to be firm in ensuring these eating habits are practiced at all times .
