Chapter 5

Sorry if I haven't updated for a while!!!! I really am!! I was busy with school work and I don't have my own computer at our house. XXD

Chapter 5:

 -Yumi's dream POV-

It was so dark. I can't see a thing. I tried reaching out to Cerona but I can't feel her in my head.

I looked around and I can't still see a thing. Okay. I'm panicking now!!! What am I going to do? Where am I anyway?

Suddenly, I saw a light coming off on a distance. I stood there for a few seconds before deciding to walk towards it.

When I took a step, I was mesmerized when suddenly, the white light bursted out and grass started growing under my feet and all around the place.

I can see everything clearly now. There were trees everywhere and there was a falls in the distance. I can hear its water cascading down.

I slowly walked towards it looking everywhere. When I reached the falls, I saw a girl about the same age as me staring at the falls with her back to me.

I was having a conflict in my mind whether to talk to her or just ignore her but I never got the chance to decide because she turned around and smiled at me.

My mouth parted slightly when I got a good look at her. She was breath-takingly beautiful. I can't believe someone could be that beuatiful that it looks like a sin.

"Hello, my child," she said in a sweet voice that was calling out to my wolf. Then, I realized who she is.

"Moom Goddess?" I asked, my mouth still open.

"Yes. I called for you because I want to tell you something about your future, dear," she said.

"My future? But I thought you don't help us in our life. That you just guide us so that we will be in the right path," I said while frowning.

"Yes. I do just guide you all but I can't stand to watch my daugther being treated like that," she said with a sad face. She walked up to me in pulled me into a hug. I don't know why but I felt safe with her so I hugged her back.

She pulled away a little and said, "You will experience a lot of pain in the next few days or even weeks, but I'm sure that you could get past all of these. Remember, after the rain comes the sun. Now, it's time for you to wake up."

"Will I see you again?" I asked and I felt like I was falling asleep.

"Yes. Someday when you will need me again," she said and with that, I fell into the dark abyss, not fearing where I will end up because I know that the Moon Goddess will never leave me on my own.

The next time I opened my eyes, I could see a light blue colored ceiling on top of me. Wait, light blue? but the room that only has this color is ...

I looked around and I saw Lexan sitting beside the bed holding my hand in his and I can feel sparks everywhere we touched. When our eyes met, I can't believe what my wolf shouted.

"Mate! He's our mate, Yumi!!!"

-Alexander's POV-

It's been a week since the incident involving my father and my mate. I never knew that they were treating someone in the pack like that. They are certainly monsters.

I've learned from my mother that Yumi has been treated like shit for the past 4 years saying that she killed the previous beta, Sven Adams.

I knew Sven could never be killed that easily. I know that he was a kind man and that he always help anyone who is in trouble. He never wanted brutality or torture.

My mom said that no one saw what really happened. She said that the pack members just assumed that Yumi killed him.

She also said that Yumi has never told anyone what happened that day, not even to my mom who's the only one who cares for her. I can't believe that she didn't even fought back, not that she was even  capable of doing that.

I looked down at her. She was sleeping peacefully on my bed. She still hasn't woken up and I haven't left her side since. She looks so fragile that I think she might break with the simplest touch.

Her brown hair is combed to silkiness based on my wishes and her body was washed, revealing scars that made me want to kill the ones that caused them.

Now, just thinking about them brings tears in my eyes. I wish I was here to help her to go through this kind of pain. I can't imagine the pain that she's been in these past years.

Her skin is too pale due to the fact that she lost too much blood and her bones is showing because she only gets to eat once a day everyday.

I brought my hand to her face and caressed it softly. The softest of touches. My face lit up when I saw her fingers twitch which was in my other hand.

"Please wake up already. I want to hold you in a tight embrace knowing that your safe with me and that you won't experience that kind of pain anymore," I whispered, softly.

I just held her hand in mine while she slowly regains her conciousness.

When her eyes opened, I saw brown lifeless orbs in them. I watched her as she took in her surroundings. When her eyes focused on me, I saw amazement in them before they were replaced by fear and pain.

She immediately pulled her hand away from my grasp and backed away to the headboard of the bed.

"Please don't hurt me," she whimpered while staying far from me as possible.

I opened my mouth to speak but I can't find the right words to say to her. I slowly crawled my way towards her but when I saw the fear in her eyes I stopped.

"Don't worry. I won't hurt you. I can't hurt you, you're my mate," I said in a pleading tone.

Her eyes widened in realization and I saw the fear disappear from her eyes only to be replaced with pain and hurt. I can tell that her body is hurting since her wounds is still not fully healed.

"Are you going to reject me?" she asked in a whisper that I barely heard if it wasn't for my werewolf hearing. My face softed at the sight of her and on what she said.

"No. I won't. I care about you. You're my mate, the one destined to be mine forever. Why would I reject an angel like you?" I asked taking her and sitting her in my lap.

"You won't?" she asked. A tone of hope in her voice.

"I won't leave you or hurt you. I promise it, Yumi," I stated to her firmly.

So it was my birthday this last February 27 and I just turned 15. Yay!!
