The Anger Within

After School.

Boy was I wrong. Another shit day. Bullied, called names, pushed around, getting my packed lunch thrown away before I could even eat. I just hope stuff won't go wrong with Jenna...

"So how'd your day go, Ethan?" Jenna asked, walking next to me.

"It was fine." I replied, smiling.

"That's good." she said, smiling back.

We were a block away from my house when Blake stopped us.

Oh god... not him... why can't he just leave us alone?

I looked up at him, not knowing what to do. "H-Hi.. Blake."

"Leave us alone, Blake!" Jenna told Blake, unafraid of what he'll do.

Blake grinned. "But I don't want to. I wanna hang out with my 'friend' Ethan."

I look down, clenching my fists in my pockets. "I. Am not. Your friend."

Blake looked at me, surprised. "What did you say, twerp?"

"I said," I looked directly at him, my hazel eyes turning a bright red. "I am not your friend." I said firmly.

Jenna wrapped her hand around mine and leaned against me. "Leave us alone, jerk."

My eyes turned back to my regular hazel, my body feeling weaker.

What was that..? That felt so.. weird... but great! It was like some sort of adrenaline running wildly through my body!

Blake snickered. "Whatever." he said. He whispered to me, "You're dead." before walking past us.

We continued to walk to my house. Jenna still holding my hand.

"That was brave of you, Ethan." she said, smiling at me.

I smiled back. "Heh, thanks."

I really don't know what came over me back there, but it doesn't matter. Blake can't bother us now.

"Sorry for my brother. He's a dick." she said.

"He kinda is." I chuckled.

Jenna squeezed my hand a little tighter. I blushed softly, continuing to walk.

We got to my house and walked to my room.

So.. what do you want to do?" I asked Jenna.

Jenna put her book bag down and shuffled through it. She got out a movie. The cover saying 'The Demons Inside'.

My eyes widened at the cover. "That looks like a horror movie."

Jenna nodded. "It is." she smiled. "I've had this for a while and wanted to watch it, but I had no one to watch it with."

"Well," I smiled at her, "You do now."

She gave the the DVD and I put it in the player, turning on the TV. We sat next to each other and started watching the movie.

She gets easily scared. It's cute. She grabs onto me when there are scary parts, but halfway through the movie she just stayed hugging me, which I didn't mind. It was nice.

When the movie finished we got up and I put the movie back in the case while Jenna was stretching.

"That was a nice movie." I said, putting the case next to Jenna's book bag.

Jenna nodded, "It was."

I looked at my watch. "Hey it's almost five you should pro--" she cut me off. I was blushing a bright crimson.

I can't believe she just did that!
