Chapter 2

"Nah you gotta have a name. Now tell me your name" Big Daddy stated as she shifted slightly "Emi" she spoke softly as he nodded "What were you doing to get yourself beat up like that" she shifted uncomfortably as she looked towards the other two adults, not even seeing Johnny yet. "I... I didn't get the money for them.... They helped me out one day... And in return I was supposed to pay them for helping...Two grand. Well I didn't have my payment and I didn't want to hurt a old women" she stated as Big Daddy looked at her. "Where are your parents" he questioned as she bit her lip "My mom died in a car accident. My father is in Jail" she looked at him as big Daddy stepped back. No mother. Just like Johnny.

Johnny stood in the background. He watched his father question the female as he stood in the background. "What do you do for work" Big Daddy questioned as she shifted "I sell the prescription drugs my dad had been selling.... Only what I can to get by" Big Daddy huffed a bit before he walked to the other adults. He spoke quietly with them as he turned to her "I got a job for you. You help out, and we will pay off your due in one day" Emi stared at him before swallowing. She wouldn't be bothered. She wouldn't have to fear. She reached her hand out as she waited for his to shake hers back.

Eventually after being allowed to clean up the female walked back into the garage "EMI. Come meet my son. You two will be working together" Johnny stared at the female, she was a bit shorter then him. Pure black fur. He could see why his father was helping her. She was just like him. "So.... What's this... Plan?" She questioned as Big Daddy gestured for her to follow as she was explained the plan. "Alright... And what... I keep look out." She questioned as Johnny's dad nodded "You also got a level head. So keep a eye on Johnny" The young message head snapped towards his father "What?" He questioned as Emi nodded "I can do that"

The next day Johnny at The the theater, he was practicing the piano as Ms Crawley listened carefully. "Yes... That was... Quite bad" she stated with no intention of hurting his feelings. "Psst Johnny come in!" Johnny jumped a bit as he moved to his coat "what dad?" He questioned hoping no one heard him. "the shipments coming in now. Meet us at this street!" Johnny shifted as he moved down the stairs. Apologizing to Buster as he left. Eventually he was in the car, sitting in a alley with the female beside him. "Okay. We will be back in " "Exactly 32 minutes I know" His father glared at his attitude as left. Emi sat there as she raised a eyebrow "Where do you disappear off to?" She finally questioned as she noticed his antsy behavior. He broke down and told her everything.

"You can't take the car." She stated as he looked at her "And what your going to stop me" he questioned as she nodded "You want your dad in jail!!" He looked at her "I will not have  you screwing this up for me! I need this money!" She stated as he scowled. Johnny was surprised, she had a backbone. "We can go to this thing afterwards. I have a plan"

Suddenly the sounds of engines caught her attention as she listened quietly "We got company" she shifted as she adjusted her shirt. She pulled out a pocket knife before cutting herself on the hip. "What are you doing! " Johnny questioned as he watched her "Don't wait up for me. I'll be back at the garage for my payment, and then I'll return the favor for you with the theater" she got out of the car as she ran up towards a clear opening, away from the parked car. Once she saw the police car she held her bleeding side, her arm waving around "Help!"

The police officer shifted before grabbing his radio "I need backup! By the clearing on the south side. We have a girl down. Repeat. Girl down!"  The officer drove up, getting out of the car as she had moved to her hands and knees, holding her side. "Help.... Please" she stated as a few more cars arrived "What happened. The large rhino questioned. "I was.. jogging... And a group of men... Carrying bags attacked me... He cut me" she stated showing him her bloodied hand as he attempted to comfort her "Where did they go!" He questioned as she weakly pointed in the opposite direction they actually were. The officers moved in that direction as a few stayed behind to help the female.

Meanwhile, the group had returned. Johnny stepped on it, making his way back to the garage. Once inside he sat back as his father laughed loudly. "We did it!" He stated as Johnny looked to the empty seat beside him. He didn't know how react. His father came to the side of the car as he looked Inside. "Where's emi?" He questioned as Johnny turned his head "She heard the cops and stabbed herself before diverting there attention! She said she would come back!"

A few hours passes, as there was a knock on the door. They moved to the door before opening it up "Emi!" Big Daddy stated as she huffed a bit. "Hey... Sorry for taking so long. Had to... Answer questions. Did you make it back okay?" She stepped in as everyone moved "What?" Big Daddy stated at her "You cut yourself?" He questioned as she nodded "Yeah you wouldn't of got out if I didn't" Big Daddy moved to the table, as he got her portion. "So... This should cover you... But. Your have smart thinking. Maybe I could require your help more often. You seem to know what your doing" she stared at him as she shifted her head "I do what I have to do survive."
