All my life, I have been ruled by fear — a powerful, underlying emotion that has determined much of my behaviour. I was never conscious of this driving force, nor the stranglehold it had on me, until a year ago when my greatest fear was realised, Reyhaan thought about his past memories sitting in balcony sipping coffee.
After an emotional roller-coaster ride, my first long-distance romantic relationship ended. My deepest insecurity was confirmed:
I felt as though my world ended, as if all the love I’d known had been snuffed out. My greatest dream to be loved and accepted perished, when “Shaynah” requested me for commitment and I couldn’t fulfil the same.
So here it started, my life had been full of up’s and down… until destiny did build the possibility of showing way towards true love with barriers all the way.
And the day came in my life in the year 2015, where I came across a beautiful person on a social networking site named Shaynah with a good heart and things started getting crazy thereafter.
Thou’ it was an interaction, for the first time and being strangers, residing in 2 different countries, trust factor plays a major role, however it was different feeling and our conversation started building it’s own trust from Day 1 and the bonding got stronger and stronger.
Days & Months passed by and a sensational feeling sparkled towards each other, with add on’s of liking and caring for each other with proposal from my side finally and acceptance from her side imagining life together in a long distance relationship.
Long distance relationship is not that easy after feeling the fact that one is connected through virtual world of social networking websites however when it comes to be around each other, we were separated by 1206 miles.
Phone calls, texting increased however deep down we did felt something is missing maybe the sense of being together, meeting daily, weekly, staying in one country.
Finally Day arrived – August’2015 – Love birds finally planned to meet in the city of dreams “Bombay” to understand the seriousness of relationship and excitement of seeing each other face to face. For Reyhaan, there was little excitement as he never tries to express his feelings, however from Shaynah’s side the excitement had no bounds and cannot be compared. A girl Travelling alone in an unknown city with an excitement and spark in eyes, feeling of getting loved, pampered and care, and also the risk of whether it was a sensible and worthy move to travel down to meet a person with whom future may or may not be confirmed.
All planned, Shaynah was waiting in the hotel lobby eagerly waiting for his guy, strange feeling, excitement, and there enters her guy Reyhaan, eyes met, sense of happiness rushed through each others eyes. Both walked towards each other. It was a dream come true for Shaynah as well as Reyhaan. They greeted and hugged each other tightly feeling sense of relaxation finally.
4 days well spent knowing each other. Love became stronger and stronger. Both sensed secured feeling of having a right guy and girl. Reyhaan and Shaynah both exclaimed, that they had the best 4 days of life having pillow fights, knowing each other specifically, about family, about future planning on how to execute and take it ahead. 4 days of memories were fantastic which both of them ideally never had experienced earlier in their life. Having meals together, being together, spending all the time, caring for each other, made firm on their decision’s that they had made a right choice. However Reyhaan was sceptical of giving commitment as for him career was more important ideally and back in his mind he knew that he won’t give commitment unless and until he is stable in his career, but he didn’t rejected the fact that Shaynah is perfect match for him.
Last day is always a bad day and emotional day when one has to leave and go and day arrived when Shaynah had to leave for her country. Feeling of losing something important, spending time together for 4 days with so many memories was killing both of them as again the same normal routine life will be followed once back in respective country.
Tears rolled from each other’s eye as they bid goodbye hoping to meet soon next time, taking back all the memories spent.
Sometimes it’s very difficult to cope up with the pain of losing someone when you know it’s the only thing which you always wanted and admired in life, but life is not that easy to achieve what one always wanted.
Shaynah was back in her country Dubai and started normal routine whereas Reyhaan started with his work. Bonding became stronger and stronger after their meet. Relationship turned more sensible more stronger.
Love story doesn’t always has an happy ending… Stay tuned to know what happened in Shaynah and Reyhaan’s love story ahead..Chapter 2
