Chapter 4 - Party All Night Long

♛ Camila's POV♛

"So why exactly do you need me to buy all this," my brother says, looking over the list of things I need for the party tonight.

"I told you already," I say.

"Ya, I know. But I don't think that, 'my friend broke up with her boyfriend and she needs a girls night,' includes all this alcohol and party stuff."

I sigh and say, "It does if we're throwing a party to get her mind off of it."

"Ah, now that's what I thought," my brother says smugly. "Next time just say the truth. I won't rat you out, lil sis."

"What's the catch?"

"Oh no catch," he says while putting his boots on. "Text me the deets about the party. See you tonight, girlfriend," Eric says in a fake high pitch voice.

"You're not invited!" I scream at him while he walks out the door.

"Can't hear you! Too busy buying the alcohol that you need for this party tonight."

"Fuck off!"

My brother laughs and the doors of the elevator close.

"I thought that we weren't going to the Hamptons?" Chloe says.

"You really think that I'm gonna let us leave the country for two weeks without doing something scandalous to make sure that we don't get forgotten?" I ask Chloe.

"Let me guess, the scandalous thing is a big ass party in the Hamptons?"

"Oh my God, how did you know?" I ask sarcastically.

"Oh, you know, just part of my many talents," she says laughing. "Anyways, do you really think that they could forget about us in two weeks? They wouldn't be able to, even after an eternity."

"You're right, I totally forgot how amazing we are. But whatever, we have an excuse for throwing a party," I say laughing.

"Since when do we need an excuse for partying?" Chloe says with a smirk.

"And this is why we're best friends."

"We're back with every single thing on that list, plus a few things that we thought were also necessary," my brother says.

"And of course by 'we', he means..." I say waiting for him to say, "Cameron the Sexy Beast," Cameron says coming into the house.

"Of course," I say under my breath. "Anyways, if you guys are coming to this party, you're helping us set up."

"Ok, you guys finish up the last few things, we need to go get ready," I say.

"There's still three hours before 9:30," Cameron says.

"Exactly, only three hours," Chloe says in a duh voice.

"Oh Cammy, have you not learned anything after the many years of knowing us and the countless of girls you've been with," I say. Eric shoots us a glare, telling us to shut the hell up. "Anyways, we're the hosts, we have to look our best."

"And if you were attending this party by invitation you would say the same thing, right?" Cameron asks, catching on.

"Ding ding ding, we have a winner," I smile at Cameron.

Once we've both showered we start doing our hair and makeup. Me, starting with my makeup, and Chloe, starting with her hair. Once we're done we switch, get dressed and then do a few last minute touches and we're finally ready.
