-------------------flashback----------------

"Mommy mommy mommy look look look" Riley said to her mom pointing to the car window.

"What is it sweetie?" Her mother responds.

"There's a boy waving to me mommy" Riley says waving back to be boy.

"Honey there is no boy there what boy are you talking about?"

"Mommy you don't see him? He is still waving at us"

"Babe I think Riley just got her first imaginary friend! I remember mine we were inseparable but when I started middle school she vanished and I didn't even notice" her mom spoke to Riley's dad.

Riley giggles to the boy while laying back on her seat slowly drifting to sleep.

"Riley you're still asleep? Get up right now you're going to miss your bus on the first day of school" my mother shouts at me.

"Ugh no 5 more minutes" I say tiredly.

"5 more minutes my ass" my brother interrupts with a bucket full of water in his hands and spills it on top of me.

"TROY WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT?!" I say angrily

"That's for waking up 20 mins after me and i don't know I felt like it" he snickers.

I get out of bed and jump in the shower. When I got out I had 15 mins left. I changed into my new clothes that I've been saving for this very day. I'm wearing a cute light blue skirt with a cute white top. I blow dry my hair a bit and curl it. I added a bit of mascara since I'm not a makeup person because getting it off is a pain. I walk down the stairs into the kitchen and grabbed a banana and walked out the door without waiting for Troy.

"Oh so now that you're a junior you leave without your brother?" He says behind me.

"You're a senior I don't need to babysit you not wait for you" I say eating my banana.

"Whatever listen here we will not speak in school what so ever I don't want people to know you're my sister. Because jeez sis you're quite embarrassing." He says smirking

"I'm way ahead of you" I say getting on the bus.

The bus is an ordinary yellow bus with brown seats that are ripped up and have writing on them. The freshies sit in the front of the bus, sophomores in the middle, and juniors and seniors in the back. I decided to sit in the middle back next to a guy. He turned to me a smiled a bit. He had brown hair that was styled in a quiff and piercing blue eyes like sapphire. I would look at them all day if it wasn't weird to.

"Hi I'm Connor and what's you're name babe?" He says with a grin.

"Oh uh hi I'm erm Riley nice to meet you" I stuttered. Way to make a first impression why was I so nervous talking to this guy? He sure was hot but I should be fine talking to guys. Oh no why is my face heating up no no no I'm blushing stop it this instant nooo.

"You look cute when you blush" he says. So I blush even more if that's even possible. He smirks and says "are you new here? Ive never seen you on this bus before nor in school" he says.
