It's been 5 weeks since Aiden and I started dating. My best friend, Kat, doesn't want to talk to me anymore. Nobody in Aiden's 'squad' likes me anymore. I feel like things got worse when I started dating him and I think we should take a break

I don't think Brooke is enjoying our relationship. I don't want her to be sad or I can't enjoy our relationship either, so I think it's time for a break...

"Hey... What do you want I have to get to class, I don't want to be late. I--" Kat said trying to ignore Aiden.
"Kat, should I break up with Brooklyn?"
"Break up with Brooklyn? If you want to, she doesn't seem like she is enjoying the relationship."
"Ok thanks."

Finally!!! It's my chance to be with Aiden after years and years of liking him! Tbh I don't feel sorry for Brooklyn, she can go cry to her 59639 friends she has.

Good morning fellow students! Don't forget! The school Dance is this Saturday stop by the front office to buy tickets and go ask your special someone before it's too late!!!!!!"

Aiden-
I dreamed of going to this dance with Brooklyn... I can't just leave her like that, I'm going to ask her to go to the dance with me.

"Hello class, today we have a new student joining us today, his name is Connor and I would like if someone can help him around the school and show him where everything is." The teacher said.
Every girl raised their hand in the air, except Brooklyn of course, she was too busy looking at his eyes.
"Brooklyn, one of my favorite students, why won't you help?"
"Me? Uh ok." I said , I was a bit confused but after that I was ok.
"Why does Brooklyn always get the hot guys? It's not fair, but she is pretty." Another student whispered to her friend, but the whisper was so loud that Brooklyn heard every word.

"Hey I'm Connor, you should be Brooklyn." He smiled at her.
"Oh hey, yeah I am sorry for acting so weird." She blushes and he blushes back.
"So what is the school doing this week? Any fundraisers, parties, dance?"
"Actually yeah, there's the spring dance this Saturday, you should go and meet the students."
"Well I have to go to my next class, see you later."

Kat-
I walk out to the hallway and I see a huge circle of people with lights around the halls. And in the middle I see Aiden, waiting for Brooklyn so he can ask her to the dance. Obviously, can't he tell that she doesn't like him anymore!

Brooklyn-
I walk into the hallway and see that everyone is in a circle. They make a little space for me to go inside the circle, so I go in. I'm confused, nervous, I see little fairy lights hanging from the wall. After that, I hear music, romantic music. I look around and I see Kat with an angry face like she's just going to burst at any moment, and Connor, looking for me since he doesn't know where to go. Suddenly I see Aiden coming inside the circle. Again, I'm confused. I don't know what is going on.

*music keeps playing as Aiden comes in*
"You are here." Said Aiden.
"Brooklyn Jones, would you be my date to the school dance?"
*he hands her a huge bouquet of flowers and waits for an answer*
"Uh..... I-i... I-i can't I'm sorry! I don't have feelings for you anymore."
*Brooklyn leaves the hallway and hides in the Janitors closet and starts crying*

She said no! My plan is going so well!! I'm so glad that I'm just steps away from being with Aiden forever. Following my big sisters footsteps is great. Thanks Cassandra!!!

"She was the love of my life, who would I go to the dance with now?"
"Why don't you try Kat? She's been liking you since forever. Give her a chance."
"Ok Fine, I will."
