chapter 4

Grace's P.O.V.

We got to the mall and headed to the food court. I know I already ate but cut me some slack I'm eating for two people now. Plus Ciara was hungry too. She went to order our food,while I went to get us a table. A few min passed and she came back with our food. She had ordered us a pizza for both of us. "So why didn't you want me to pick you up at your house.Did you have a fight with your mom?" she asked. "No, its just that i went over to luke's house, words were exchanged and I broke up with him" I told her. " Why'd you break up with him? You two were happy together." She asked sounding surprised. "Um... promise not to tell anyone about what I'm about to tell you?" "Promise... Now tell me!" she said anxious to hear what I was gunna say. "Well, um the thing is that .... I'm pregnant and Luke is the father thats why I went over to his house earlier. When I told him he said that he was still young and had a life ahead of him.To me that sounded like he didnt want to be part of the baby's life at all. So I made my decision and broke up with him, and he didnt even bother coming after me. I guess  he didnt love me at all." I told her tears dwelling in my eyes. 

Luke's P.O.V.

I was playin video games with jai,james, and daniel when Grace comes in.I can tell something was bugging her, but i couldnt tell what it was exactly.  "Hey, you guys" "hey, grace" we all reply back. "Luke can I speak to you for a moment? " she told me. I wonder what she wanted to talk about. "Yeah, sure... be right back you guys" I said while getting up walking towards grace. I led her to the backyard and we sat down next to a tree. "So whats up?" I asked. " Um.... I have something to tell you but I dont know how you'll react." She told me. What does she mean how I'll react? "you know you can tell me anything no matter what I'll be by your side" I told her not sure of what she was going to say. "okay im just going to say it I-I'm... I-I'm-" " Your what, please tell me I'm getting worried!" I said while cutting her off. "Luke I-I'm...... I'm pregnant!"

When thos words were said i didnt know what to do. I mean I'm 18 for crying out loud and she was only  17. We were both young and maybe she even wanted to go to college and have a career first just like me. I didnt know what to say so i stayed silent. "Luke... say something" "What do you want me to say. I'm young and I cant have a baby. I'm not ready." I told her. "And you think i am? I'm young too.I want to go to college, yet i cant anymore because I decided that I'm keeping this baby wether you want to be part of her/his life or not." She told me. She was keeping the baby! I mean i want to be part of the baby's life but I dont know if I can do this. " you know what Luke. I dont need you. You can go back to living you life peacefully. Were through." and with that said she got her phone and left me there. I cant believe it, she broke up with me! This cant be happening. She is the love of my life and i just lost her.
