Chp 14: Only as Desperate

*Jeff's P.O.V*

"Now you see Jeff. Horizon and I can escape everything and everyone except ourselves." 

"Let her go."

"Just watch." she typed a code in that made BEN's figure appear in the chamber. He ran at Horizon making her duck and stab him from behind. "See she knows what to do."

"BEN is an extremely easy target for her."

"Yes. Just keep watching." 

I watched as her own figure was shown before her. She looked at the figure studying it. "What's supposed to happen."

"Only one will survive."

"If it's her how will she get out?"

"She has to figure that out herself."

"But how?"

"Just shut up and watch her."

*Horizon's P.O.V*

The figure of myself before me. 'What is Jane's plan here?' I think to myself. Without me realizing it the figure runs at me. "Shit!" I run out of the way.  I ran towards the other corner of the room. She swings at me. I duck and slash her side. My clone of sorts pushes me up against the wall choking me as I had done to Oli. I felt my eyes changing. I pulled my legs up and kicked her in the stomach. She stumbled backwards. I ran and staddled her. She looked into my eyes. Her eyes dark brown. Unlike my deep red ones. She had tears of fear in hers. I pulled my knife up and dropped it looking into her eyes. She smirked and stuck hers into my stomach. I gasped. I pulled it out smirking as the wound closed itself. I looked her straight in the eyes as I stabbed her stomach repeatedly. Soon her screaming subsided. Her eyes lifeless. I stood up and pounded on the glass but it wouldn't break. "Jeff!" I screamed as I was stabbed in the back. I dropped and was turned over. She twisted my arm but, I couldn't feel it. My eyes widened. "This isn't real." My clone suddenly disappeared. I put my hand on the glass and it shattered. I ran out. 

"Horizon!" Jeff ran at me. 

"Nicely done." Jane said clapping. 

"It wasn't real." I whispered in Jeff's ear as he pulled me into a hug. 

"That was just part of it. Now for my favorite part." She pulled Jeff away putting chains on his wrists and legs. They started rectracting pulling his body parts in different directions. 

"What are you doing? Stop, you're hurting him!" 

"Do you promise to come with me if I do?" The chains went faster making him scream.

"Yes! Just stop!" I sobbed.

The chains stopped. "Come with me." I followed her to a room. She fastened me to a metal table. She stuck a needle into my neck and got some blood out. She stuck it into the vein on her wrist. She instantly looked healthier.  

"You're not my sister, we don't have the same blood." 

"Oh. Trust me I know. But, you're the only one who has the same ablilites as me. So it will work."

"Then why did you tell Jeff you were my sister."

"I had to. Or he wouldn't have listened." 

The door opened. "You called for me?"

"Ah yes, Andy. I'm done with her. Kill her." She left the room. 

Andy stared at me for a while. "Where's Jeff?" he asked picking a knife out. 

"In the other room. Andy please. You can't do this."

"And why not?"

"There's things I know about you. Things you'll never know."

"Like what?" 

"Something about your family, siblings in fact."

"You have 30 seconds to talk." He pulled out a gutting knife.

"Okay when I put your blood in the machine the results came up. You and Jeff are brothers. Now Jane is trying to kill me to get my blood and take Jeff. Andy you need to understand. You can't work with Jane."

"Ok. Just hold still." He pulled a chainsaw out. I jumped as he turned it on. He cut the chains off. 

"Come with me I'll sneak you out." We ran through the buliding until we were outside. 

"What about Jeff?" 

"Easy Jane is going to run out of your blood soon. That's what happened last time."

"What do you mean last time?"

"Jane did this all before when Vic saved you."

"Let's get out of here before Jane gets suspicious."

"Oh...ok."

We ran through the building and eventually ran outside. "Wait what about Jeff?"

"I'll get him. Just run." I obeyed him and ran throughout the woods. 

*Andy's P.O.V*

I ran inside. I saw a guard coming. I kicked them down and stole their gun. I ran inside the building were Jane was inside with Jeff. She stood by him as he was chained up. Her hands on his sides as she was trying to kiss him. I sat there feeling uncomfortable. I cleared my throat. She jumped and looked towards me. "Did you finish your task?" 

I nodded. "Horizon is dead."

She smiled. "Perfect."

Jeff struggled in the chains. "I swear Andy. I'm going to kill you. You may be my brother. But, I swear you fucking cunt I swear I'll get you!" He spat. 

I pretended to be getting a report from a guard. "Jane. You are needed in the common room."

She nodded. "Watch him." She walked away. 

I walked toward Jeff keeping my distance. "Did you really kill her?" his voice cracked. 

"No. She hiding out in the woods. Now hold still will ya." I unlocked his chains and we ran outside. 

*Jane's P.O.V*

I walked upstairs into the common room. Nobody was their. 'Ugh. Andy that little lying bastard!' I thought. I stormed downstairs into the room and saw Jeff was missing. Heard a small scraping sound. I turned and saw something I was shocked to see. 

"Miss me?" 

"Not at all." 

"Did you really think you would get away with this?" I was speechless. For once in my life I was actually scared. "You should be scared." I remembered she was a mind reader. 

"I thought Andy killed you."

"Honestly I could just be a figure of your imagination." She disappeared into thin air. Was she all powerful? 'She's the one from the prophecy dumbass!' my thoughts scolded. 

"I don't think I would ju...." My words cut off by the pain surging through my body. I fell to the floor limp. I turned to see her standing behind me. With a needle full of the blood with my power. I lunged at her making her drop it. The glass broke causing the blood to spill all over the floor. "What have you done?!" I screamed. I felt myself getting weaker until it stopped. 

She kneeled down to me. "You're only as desperate as you allow yourself to be." She walked out of the room. 

*Horizon's P.O.V*

I knelt beside her limp body. "You're only as desperate as you allow yourself to be." I walked out of the buliding. My heart pounded in my chest. 

"This isn't over!" Jane yelled from inside. 

I jumped as arms snaked around my waist from behind. "Horizon!" I turned and saw Jeff. 

"Where the hell were you?!" I heard Andy yell. 

"Relax Andy. I'm fine." 

"Not for long." I heard from behind me. As I was stabbed the wounds didn't close. I felt myself blacking out. I collasped onto the floor.  "You're only as desperate as you allow yourself to be."
