On a dark and stormy night there was a bloody and deafening scream. A boy named Ross was yelling at his mom. Ross yelled" Mom I don't want to move, I have a life here in Denver, I don't want to move!" Ross didn't have a dad because his dad had died 4 years before in a plane crash. He ran back to his room and dialed his friends phone number. Ross' friend Bryce answered and Ross told him about the move.
Bryce told Ross" Don't worry, I can always skype you."
Ross said angrily "I don't have Skype, and you know that." With that Ross hung up the phone and got in his bed.
The next morning Ross' mom shouted" Ross! Get up or you'll miss your last day at school!" Ross thought I don't want to go to school. Ross got up and went downstairs to eat his breakfast. Ross' mom said" I know you didn't like the news yesterday so I got you some donuts and a werewolf costume for Halloween!" Ross apologized to his mom and got ready to walk to school. When Ross got to school no teacher gave homework. Ross thought OH! But now they don't give any homework! Ross told all of his friends about how it was his last day before the move. His friend Quinn asked when he found out about the news. Ross said" Yesterday." Everyone was surprised. That night a storm grew out of nowhere. Ross and his mom were all packed up, they got into the car and drove to Coverville. Ross asked about Coverville and his mom said she knew nothing about it.
That night at 11:00, they arrived in Coverville. Ross' mom explained how they were going to stay in a hotel. Ross went up the old creaky rotted wooden stairs to their room while his mom talked to the manager.
When his mom came up to their room she said" Just 7 more hours 'until till we check out!" Ross thought" Great." At 2:00 Ross was still awake and heard rustling in the bushes outside their window. Ross went outside and rushed to the outside of their window to see what it was. What he saw took his breathe away. He saw a wolf at least 5 feet tall and 3 feet wide, and at least 250 pounds! Ross screamed and tried to run away but the wolf caught up to him Ross ran back inside the hotel and under the check in desk, his heart was racing. Then the wolf jumped behind the check in desk and bit Ross' lower arm. Ross looked into the wolf's eyes while screaming, he saw fear. The wolf jumped from out of the counter and rushed out of the hotel.
The next morning Ross woke up in his bed. He wondered if the whole thing had been a dream, but then he felt his arm. He saw the bloody gauze wrapped around his arm. His mom burst into the room in tears. Ross' mom asked him if he was okay. Ross said" Yes, ah but when are we going to go to the house?"
His mom said" Whenever you want!" Ross said" Can we go now, but stop at Burger King on the way?"
His mom laughed and said" Sure!" They changed Ross' gauze and got into the car.
His mom asked him if he remembered what happened and Ross said " Yes, but you probably wouldn't believe me."
