When Ross and his mom arrived, at the house he finally got to see the house. The house was really big with double doors and a black metal gargoyle door knocker. Inside when you spoke it echoed and was hard be quiet. Ross went up to the bathroom to change his bloody gauze, but mystically the wound was gone. It was just smooth skin! Later that afternoon, they went to go sign Ross up for school at Cover High. Ross was going into 8th grade that year. They unpacked in the house, and Ross's stuff didn't even fill half of his room. That night they had roast beef sandwiches and salad with warm milk. Ross had a bad headache, so he went up to his room to rest. He looked in his mirror and saw hair all over his face and sprouting on his hands, he was growing fangs and his scream turned into a howl. He thought to himself I'm turning into a wolf, A WEREWOLF! Then he heard rushing footsteps up the stairs. It was his mom! He quickly turned on the radio which was ironically playing Thriller and opened his costume bag and shoved the actual costume under his bed. His mom opened the door and saw Ross.
She asked if everything was alright and said" That costume looks so realistic."
Ross thought You have no idea!
The next morning his jaw ached, he thought it must have been his transformation last night. He got ready for his first day at school and had some cereal. When he went out the door he looked down at his watch and saw how late he was. He started running, and he ran faster than before. He ran beside cars and he never passed them nor they passed him! He finally came to school and ran in the doors. It was warm and and packed with all of the students that went to the school. He went to his homeroom and walked to a random desk and started getting swarmed with classmates. One kid with brown long hair and freckles said" He's just a nerdy new kid, no one should care about him. He walked towards Ross and said" My name is Sam. You want to go camping with us? It will make you more of a man."
Ross replied" I have to do my homework and I don't like camping."
Sam said" Man up."
" Tell that to your hair!" said Ross. Right then Sam punched Ross in the nose. Ross went to the nurse and got a bloody nose. When Ross walked by the office he saw Sam in there. Ross made a loser sign at him and ran back to the classroom. He went up to the teacher and the teacher introduced him to the class and asked who would show him around.
A boy named Evan raised his hand and said" I will."
The teacher, Mrs. Reese told Ross to go sit by Evan.
