Chapter 4

~Hunter

I started to fall asleep in class as I was slowly not following directions, the alarm of the school bell awoken me from my sort of slumber. I quickly got up and grabbed my things, ready to run out the door. Suddenly the teacher stopped me from just an inch out the door.

"Hunter Huntsman. I need to speak to you" my female teacher said. I groaned when I was just so close. Yet so far.

I went behind her desk and sat in her seat, kicking my feet on her plum colored desk. I watched everyone leave as I kicked back and chill, again, almost falling asleep. As I was sooner out, my teacher, pushed my feet off her desk and gestured me out of her chair. I groaned once again, and standed in front of her desk.

"Mr. Huntsman, do you know why your here? " she said. I rolled my eyes and shook my head. "Your here because your grades are going down the hatch. What's up with that?" she asked.

What was up with that?. I wrote exactly what I know. I guess the only thing I do know is being a Huntsman. I shrugged again, really not caring about my grades.

"Mr. Huntsman if you don't turn this around, you will not sign your part in the Story Book Of Legends. Do you understand?" she said and, without effort, I nooded my head and she let me go. Inside my head I was happy that I got out of there but the inside of me wasn't feeling to good about my behavior. Maybe I do need to change.

Suddenly a large squeeking voice snapped me out of my thoughts.

"Huntie!!" I heard Ashlynn say. I don't really like the names she gives me. And I tell her this all the time. But I don't think she gets the memo. I gave her a slanted smile, as I did so she ran up to me and squeezed me to death.

"How was class?" she asked looking up at me. For some reason I wasn't quite comfortable in her arms as I used to. Maybe its the grades that are holding me back.

"Horrible like always." I responded. Ashylnn was disappointed for 2 seconds but switched back to her cheerful smile.

"Well since your out of class I was wondering if you want to go get a latte with me and the Hocus Pocus Coffee shop?" she asked with the cutest smile ever. I smiled and nodded as she squealed and dragged me down to the Book End Village.

~Cerise

I continued to follow Raven to meet some other students that goes to Ever After High. As I walked, I keep glancing at every student that Raven says "Hi" to. They were most likely to be Rebels. But there were also Royals. A lot of people kept looking at me. Like they never seen a girl that wears a Red hood before. As this continued to become a thing I speed walked to exactly Raven's Speed.

"Chill. They aren't going to kill you." she giggled. I gave her a fake chuckle, thinking they actually would. We stopped as we both glanced at a girl with a big blue top hat. Her hair was teal with a mixed colors such as purple and blue with a minty green. She was wearing a blue dress with sparkles on them and a big blue bow tied around her waste showing the bow in the back. She was laughing, enjoying herself with a mouse, sitting on top of her hat with a extra small sized cup filled with a small amount of tea.

She had beautiful blue eyes and a cute pumps that are white with the design of tea cups as the heels.

"This is Madeline Hatter. Her father is the Mad Hatter. Best to call her Maddy for short if you'd like." I looked at her. She stopped drinking her tea and really focused on my face. Goodness I hope I don't have wolf hair all over my face. Are my ears showing??. At this point I was getting nervous.

"Hi.. I'm... Cerise Hood. Nice to meet you?" I said pulling out my hand. She wasn't so pleased to meet me and I started to raise down my hand. She busted out laughing, Me and Raven looked confused.

"Nice to meet cha!. Don't worry. That's how I exzamine people. Its a family thing. Anyways!, I'm Madeline Hatter!. My father is the Mad Hatter!. If you want, you can call me Maddy. Its a nick name that everyone uses!" she said speaking very fast. Raven laughed.

"Care for some tea?" she asked. I didn't want to be rude so I excepted her offer. I grabbed the tea out her hands and drank it and surprisingly, this was good. She chuckled. "You thought that was good?. You should come down the the Wonderland Haberdashery!!. That's were the tea really started to KICK in!" she said jumping around. She probably had to much tea.  Raven laughed again.

"You see why I love her?" she said hugging Madeline, she started to giggle in her arms. And I started to laugh. She seems wonderful.

Suddenly Ravens phone started to buzz. She picked up her phone looking at, what seems to be, and hext message. She smiled.

"Hey, do you guys wanna get some Coffee?. Cedar hexted me that there is this new flavor they're adding to the menu." she asked. Maddy nodded very delightfully but I stood there confused. Raven read my look and started to slap her forehead, in total forget.

"Right!. Your new. You don't know Cedar. Don't worry. Ill show you her. If your willing to come?. " I nodded and she smiled. "Great!. Lets go!." so all three of us started walking to our destination.

~Hunter

I was sitting at a table with Ashlynn as she sipped on her cup gracefully. Me, I was starting at my cup, watching the smoke from the hot coffee rise up out little holes in the cup.

"Aren't you going to drink it?" she asked and I looked up at her.

"Yeah. I'm just gonna give it some time to cool." I told her with a sly smile. She put down her cup from her hands.

"Hunter, your not acting like yourself. What's going on?" she said holding my hand. I sighed.

"I was told that if I don't raise my grades, I won't sign my part in The Book." I said sniffing the hot cup of Coffee. Ashylnn looked at me with disappointment.

"Don't worry Hunter. Your the smartest guy I know, you'll ace every test each class gives you." she said with that cute smile again. I smiled at her to. Suddenly I heard a ring from the door. I looked behind me and I see Raven and Maddy. And that other girl. What's her name?. Cerise Hood?. All three of them were walking to the counter and then I made eye contact with Cerise.

It was going on for 2 mins and she instantly broke eye contacted. I rolled my eyes and sipped my coffee.

"Is that the girl you were talking about?" Ashlynn asked about Cerise.

"Yeah.." I said staring at my cup again.

"Well I'm going to speak to her!. Wish me luck!" she said marching up to her. I was trying to tell her no but she wouldn't listen.
