After Apollo was turned into a mortal, Artemis felt like it was all her fault, so she killed herself by using the mist to erase her from mortal memory, so she died like Pan. Because of this, the moon came way too close to earth, to compensate. The mist made it look like an asteroid hit the moon closer to the Earth, so that the mortals wouldn't be scared. But that messed up the tides, volcanoes, earthquakes, and much more. Want to find out how this affects the demigods at CHB and Camp Jupiter? Read the next chapter to find out!
