"Wesley! Get up or I will take the car with or without you in it!" I yell at the door opposite of my own. Wesley opens his door and looks down at me.

"Give me five minutes shorty," he says and closes his door again. I groan and decide to put on some light makeup to go along with my clothing choice for the first day of senior year. I looked in  the mirror on my make up table and start to apply some mascara and some pink lipstick. Once I'm satisfied with how it looks I get up and look at the full length mirror on the backside o the door and look at what I'm wearing.

I was wearing a maroon shirt with "Happy Thoughts" written on it in white, with a black and white flannel over it. A ripped pair of blue jeans and a pair of maroon Doc Martins. I grab my maroon beanie and headphones and shove them in my Marauders Map backpack. I grab my phone and put it into my back pocket. I open my door the same time as Wesley.

"You know you look like dad" He said when he saw me. I smiled sadly, but shook my head no at him and gave him a hug. " I miss them too Brooklyn." I look up at him and can't  but help notice we look nothing like siblings.

Wesley look exactly like our dad, naturally tan skin and an athletic build but he's only a little bit taller than he was. Wesley is 6'3 and has shoulder length dark brown hair. Then there's me, I look like our mom, fair skin and a little bit pudgy in the stomach area. I'm even shorter than her at the height of 5'3.  My dirty blonde hair was down to my waist. Wesley and I have two things in common naturally curly hair and our eyes. Our dad used to joke that we could run the world in a blink of an eye if we wanted to. The only thing that made us twins, our eyes were vibrant gray with brown in our left eye. The brown took over only half the left eye.

"Well let's get going shorty," Wesley says and we run down the stairs. When we get to the front door our aunt stops us. Wesley and I share a look, that says we can still run if we tried. I shake my head and look at our aunt.

"Oh how both of you look like your parents. Any who, you two should get a move on. Don't want to be late on your first day of Senior year." Aunt Tia tells us in her fake southern accent. Aunt Tia, doesn't know when she's said to much but she mean well. Her blonde almost white hair is pulled back into a tight bun and shes wearing her apron. Probably is getting ready to cook her and Uncle Jim breakfast and head to work. They both work at the local law firm in town. We nod and smile at our Aunts words.

"Oh, Aunt Tia we'll be late today because I have soccer practice after school." Wesley says.  I start to give him a weird look but he pushes me out of the house before I can say anything. "Bye Aunt Tia! Love you!" Wesley yells back at the house before closing the door and turning to face me.

"I didn't know you had practice today." I said. Wesley looks at me and sighs.

"Lynn, I told you last night. I was thinking since you haven't seen or talked to anyone besides, Aunt Tia, Uncle Jim and me all summer you should invite Jade and Arabella to practice." Wesley suggests. I don't answer instead I head over to the car and get into the drivers side, he gets into the passengers side.

"Wes, who knows if they still want me to be their friend." I say and start the car.

"Lynn they've been your, our best friends since fifth grade. They won't turn their back on you now, especially when you need them the most." Wesley says and takes out his phone adn starts texting someone.

"Wes, how many know about what happened to Mom and Dad?" I ask worriedly. After a few minutes without an answer I look over at him. He has his head phones in and he's messing with his hair. " I hate you," I say as I turn into the schools parking lot.

"Later shorty! See you in chemistry!" Wesley yells and runs out of the car.

"Bye loser!" I yell at his fleeting form. I smile and grab my backpack from the backseat. I start to head to the front of the building. As I'm about to reach the stairs I hear someone yell my name. At first I don't recognize the voice then, it clicks. I turn around bracing myself for everything but what I actually received. A hug. "Jade," I say and return the hug as quickly as possible.
