You confuse me,
Make me want to run, to laugh
And want to slap you at the same time.
How long has it been?
How many stolen glances,
how many times have I watched you from the corner of my eye,
how many times did I wish we were
what we were not.
Every denial was filled with conviction,
but time has worn away my passion.
And now on the brink of something different,
a maybe road to hesitant friendship,
the carving of a whisper hole in our hearts
to send across a message that we both cautiously scan for war.
One surprise was all it took
For me to realize that you were not you
And now I stand here
Utterly confused.
It's been awhile now, since she's talked to me.
Those, silent stares, and sneaked glances.
I notice, i bring up front.
I make her look, like that silent freak.
Arrogance.
Arrogance itself has consumed my mind
I feel superior, to make her inferior
She's seen me, a certain way, i melt her heart
just the right way.
But i'm a changed man now.
Too bad she still believes.
To bad she'll never see.
There was a time.
There was a sign.
she could of been mine.
and i could of been hers.
But that's all changed.
I'm a changed person now.
A new, style, a new desire.
She'll hurl those insults back and forth.
sometimes she's sugar, innocent and sweet
Damn, she's got everything hard to beat.
She doesn't know, that i feel for her too
she doesn't see that, i'm just blind.
she needs to make. a blind man see
She needs to show him, how to be.
if she can do this. she can do anything.
if she can show me. she will be. forever mine.
Authors Note: The second part was written by a very good friend of mine, isn't he/she talented!!!!
