"Do you want to tell the police?" I said.

"This is too complicated for the police to deal with." He stated.

"Well we should at least tell the others." I spoke.

"They probably don't want to deal with our problems." he said.

"I think we need to sleep." I suggested.

"Yeah we haven't slept all day yesterday." He stated.

"Ok I'm gonna go to bed." I said and walked up the stairs to my room and a couple seconds laying there and I was out faster than you can say A. I woke up to a weird sound that was like a chattering sound. When I opened my eyes there was tear gas spreading around the room. I screamed when I saw the words "You will rot in hell with your parents. Kisses. -A" Toby came rushing in at the sound of my scream, when he opened the door all the tear gas was gone.

"What's wrong Emily??" He asked really worried.

"Lllookk att tthhe wallll!" I said scared half to death. He quickly skimmed through what it said and grabbed me and got out of that room. We sat in the living room and he asked me "Do you remember what happened?"

"Well I woke up and saw tear gas everywhere and A was in my room panting that on the wall and I screamed and then you rushed in and all the tear gas vanished and so did A!" I spoke.

"Okay we need to tell the others." he said in a concerned way.

"Hurry, we have to get out of here before he kills us!" My voice cracked.

"Alright, I'll get my mom and you grab your dog!" He ordered then rushed out the room before I could reply.

"My dog! I forgot all about her! Where did I leave her last!? How could I lose something so precious?! Where is she??" I yelled really loudly.

"Lae Lae! Where are you?! Come here girl!" I began to call her name and whistle until I hear the pitter patter of a dog's foot.

"Lae Lae! There you are!" I scooped Lae Lae up and ran outside.

"Toby? Where are you Toby?" I yelled. I noticed something orange and red out of the corner of my eye. A fire. Suddenly I was on my feet putting Lae Lae down and running back into the house to try and find Toby and his parents.

"Toby!" I hollered.

"Emily?" Toby asked from upstairs.

"Toby we need to get out of here!" I screamed.

"I know I know, hurry Mom!" Toby disappeared behind the stairway.

"Toby?" I questioned silently.

"We're coming" a voice said out of nowhere.

"Yes Emily, don't fret sweety! We're on our way." Toby's mother replied from somewhere farther down the stairwell.

"Please hurry! The fire is spreading fast!" I call from the doorway.

"FIRE???!!!" I heard Toby's mother yell. Out of nowhere she came scrambling down the stairs dragging Toby down.

"We have to get out of here!" Toby sprinted toward me and hauled me out of their house just before the fire reached the door. Toby's parents were in front of us and hopped into their car but before Toby and I could hop in someone grabbed my arm and took me back into the house. "You're gonna burn say hello to the devil for me" a voice said over the intercom that was echoing through the house that was about to burn down with me in it but then Toby broke the door down and jumped over all the burning rubble and grabbed me in a bride like way and carried me out of the house and he got me out. He heard little tiny baby barks coming from inside the house. He rushes in and saves Lae Lae before the house came down and we were all safe. Beep. Beep. "You're just glad you're alive cause next time you won't be -A". I screamed louder than someone who broke their leg.

''What's wrong'' he asked in a concerning manner. I collapsed to the ground and he lifted me up like a prince.

''It's A'' I kept saying over and over again clutching my heart as I felt like I was going to faint.

''Stay away from me or A will probably try to kill you'' I spoke.

"Emily, A is trying to get to you and everyone else. I'm here to protect you" he said all heroically.

"My hero" I said in a country accent I don't know why but I did. He grabbed me close and stared into my bright blue sparkling ocean colored eyes and leaned and kissed me for about ten seconds and pulled away.

"I'm sorry." he said and walked away.

"So you are just going to leave me like that?'' I said and sashayed away from him

''Gosh, people these days.'' I said. I totally left him speechless.

''Wait,'' he said with hesitation, "I need to tell you something."

"And what is that?" I asked. He got down on one knee and said "Emma will you make me the happiest guy in the world and be my girlfriend?".

"Toby I would love to." I said in joyful tears. Well I was happy for a long while until I realized where in the world am I going to live now the house is all burned and Toby's mom ditched us. She needed to be far away from so she wouldn't get hurt or in this matter killed. I worriedly paced around and toby had a troubled look on his face.

"Babe, I bought an apartment before I moved in with my mom in case of an emergency." he explained.

"Well then let's go," I said and we both started walking towards this apartment. The apartment was made of cobblestone bricks, it looked more like a tower. The height was like a skyscraper it was so tall it even touched the clouds! I was astounded by it. It seemed so spooky when the rain trickled off the clouds and hit the tower. The rain came down like a shower and I wished I would have gotten my hoodie because it was so intense. Worst of all the lightning boom struck my heart strings I was so afraid of the crashing lightning as it landed on the ground. Toby pulled out an umbrella and grabbed my hand and we ran all the way up the grey stoned stairs and huddled together to get away from the rain.
