Dedication:
I would like to dedicate this book to my mother who was my rock.
She picked me up when I was down and helped me through the most difficult time of my life. She gave me so much love and hope and a shoulder to cry on. I thank her for always being there for me.
I must also thank:- Jack, my step-dad R.I.P, who stood by me in my battles in the Greek courts; my wife Suzi for her support and my children Amy-Louise and Adam for always showing me love and understanding.
It would be remiss if I did not mention my sister Diane who came to Greece to fight on my behalf; my friend Remanos, the Greek policeman, my other sisters Pat and Denise and my brothers Mark, Stephen and Derek.
A special tribute must also be made to the Bolton Evening News and the people of Bolton who have supported me through all those difficult times.
It is also important to express special thanks to my friends Vera Burrows and Billy Isherwood. Without them this book would not have been possible.
As for my son, Christopher, the raison d'etre for this entire book; I thank him for being my son and the love he has given me even though we were separated by land and sea
My final thoughts go to Maria, my ex-Mother-in-Law. Her actions against me, culminating in throwing my suitcase down the stairs and saying I would never see my wife and child again, gave me the strength and resolve to carry on the fight to be a father to my son Christopher.
