On the way to Diagon Alley was full of laughter and teasing. They reached the fancy Italian restaurant and were quickly seated since Draco is a family friend. They walked inside and were taken to a table for two. Draco pulled out Hermione's chair before sitting down.
After their waiter took their drink orders Draco turned towards Hermione.
"I really like that dress you have on Granger. It shows off your curves nicely."
Hermione just sat there with a smile on her lips and a red face staring at the ground.
"Come on Granger. You've got to make some eye contact with me so then I can see your beautiful eyes."
She look up at him with her head still down. She saw his face turn into a smile. Not a smirk, but a handsome smile she would love to see everyday. She quickly shook the thought out of her head of seeing him everyday.
"Why are you saying those things, Malfoy?"
She was now looking strait at him.
"I want you to know how beautiful you are. Besides, when you can't speak and are blushing so much I know I've done a good job."
He winked and chuckled at his own comment.
"Well, thank you."
Those were the last words they exchanged before the waiter arrived again with their drinks.
After dinner, Draco apparted back to Hogwarts with Hermione hook to his arm. They walked back to the Gryfindor common room giggling at eachother. When they arrived, Hermione said the password and was about to walk in but Draco turned her toward him. Mean while Ron was sitting on the love seat by the fireplace watching them closely.
"That was the best date I had tonight, Granger."
"I could say the same, Malfoy."
Before Hermione knew what was happening, Draco brought his lips to her cheek. It felt warm unlike Ron's kisses. Even though it was just on the cheek it made her feel like she was flying. Draco backed away and whispered in her ear.
"Goodnight, lovely. Tomorrow meet me at the Quidditch fields at 12." He then turned and walked away leaving a blushing Hermione in aw.
She brought her hand to her cheek and walked inside the common room where Ron sat staring her down like he did before she left. Hermione quickly walked up stairs and stood still in front of the girl's dorm.
She knew right then, she might be falling for Draco Malfoy.
