Chapter 17

1 week and 6 days later

(Was the final day for Laura to wake. She was doing fine didn't get worst. Ross spent the entire week and 6 days beside Laura. He was always either beside Laura or crying in a chair. The rest of the family and Vanessa came to visit everyday. It was pretty much the same thing each day nothing really changed but when it came to the last day they started to get worried cause she was not showing any types of signs that she was waking up)

Vanessa: (crying her eyes out hugging Riker)

Riker: shhh its ok, shes gonna be fine you'll see

Rydel: (started crying hugging Ratliff)

Stormie: (started crying too hugging Mark)

Rocky: (stated crying)

Ryland: (started crying too so Rocky and Ryland hugged eachother)

Nurse: (came in and started to check the machines and everything) would you want me to turn off the machines now or later?

Everyone: later

Nurse: ok (checked all the machines and suddenly a loud beeping sounded)

Ross: whats wrong?

Nurse: her heart beat stopped!

Everyone: what!?

Vanessa: (broke down crying even more, so did Rydel and Stormie)

Nurse: (was running all around the room trying to get her heartbeat again)

Ross: no Laura you can't leave me! (the beeping sound stopped)

Rydel: no (buried her face face on Ratliff's chest)

Vanessa: (buried her face on Riker's chest)

Nurse: Im sorry there is nothing else we can do (started to turn off the machines)

Ross: Laura come back to me! (broke down crying)

Ryland: its ok bro (rubbing his back)

Ross: (stopped crying, stood up and kissed Laura passionately on the lips. After a few seconds he pulled away looking at Laura and broke down crying again)

Everyone: (were crying and there was a silence full of tears and sobbing)

(The beeping starts to sound again)

Nurse: (checked the machine) it is not possible

Ross: what?

Nurse: her heartbeat started again

Everyone: (got supper excited and started crying tears of joy)

Ross: (just looking at Laura smiling)

Laura: (all of a sudden flouters her eyes open). R-Ross (starts to sit up)

Ross: Laura! (hugged her)

Laura: (hugs him to)

Vanessa: (looked up to see what was happening a and saw Laura hugging Ross) Laura! (went running to her bed and hugged her) I thought I lost you

Laura: why? I was always here in a coma

Rydel: actually you heart stopped for like 5 minutes

Laura: it did?!

Ross: yupp I thought you were gone

Laura: then why am I not dead?

Rocky: when the nurse said there was nothing else she could do Ross stood up and gave you a kiss on the lips then your heartbeat started again and then you woke up

Doctor: (came in) Im here to turn off the machines (sees Laura awake sitting on the bed) wait what happened?

Nurse: her heart stopped beating for 5 minutes but this young man kissed her and her heartbeat came back and seconds later she opened her eyes

Doctor: how is that possible? Miss Marano may I give you a check up

Laura: ok (the doctor checked her up)

Doctor: well everything seems fine Miss Marano but we cannot stitch up your scar so to prevent it from getting infected we have to put a cast on your arm

Laura: ok (put her cast on)

Doctor: what color do you want?

Laura: can it be 2 colors?

Doctor: sure ok

Laura: then yellow and red

Ross: (smiled)

Laura: (smiled back)

Doctor: all done

Stormie: excuse me doctor, when can she leave?

Doctor: right now, if you don't feel good or something just give us a call

Stormie: thank you doctor

Doctor: my pleasure (left the room)

Rydel: ready to go home Laura?

Laura: totally, can somebody get me my clothe?

Rydel: here (hands her the clothe) em guys go outside

Ross: but...

Rydel: gooo! (All the boys went outside)

Laura: (changed) ok you can come in now (all the boys came in)

Ross: c'mon lest go

Laura: (tries to stand up but falls)

Ross: (catches her just in time)

Laura: wow, I can't even walk

Ross: here I will carry you

(Carries he bridal style)

Laura: thanks hot shot (gives in a quick kiss)

Ross: (blushed)

(Everyone went to the car and drove home)
