The laughing boomed in Qua's ears. She tried to escape , but they only followed her. She ran into the alley. The laughing got louder and louder. A single tear escaped her brown eyes. She dropped a black leather book on the ground. She gasped as they picked it up. She screamed as loud as a jet, before she realized what she was doing all of them passed out on the concrete. She ran over snatched her book and sped away as fast as she could.
Qua's POV
I ran as they laughed. Those six kids were evil. The girls,Callie, Georgia and Aliva and the boys, Jax, Brandon and Justin. They were in a group they called the Roses and Rocks. I ran into the alleyway as they laughed. They chased me down. I accidentally dropped my book, my book I couldn't lose, I would die if they read it. They snatched up the book. And I let it out. I did the manic scream and they all passed out right then. Some close by ravens flew away towards the sky. I ran down the alley to the kids and picked up my book and ran off towards 4th Left street.
I sped off to my gray old house. I stepped in the door and looked at the cracking celing. I walked over to the basement door and opened it. On the other side was a wall. Perfect, I thought. I closed it again and chanted the words under my breath. "Iaa Maa Uaa Taa Caa Iaa Maa Uaa Taa," I opened the door again and sure enough there was a bright hallway. I smiled and shut the door behind me.
