At 12, she did especially well in her exams. She was then eligible to enter a government aided public school but since she was familiar with the environment of her current school, Ah Ma decided to reject that offer and continue her education in the special school. As a disabled child who could not do sports, run around or frolic around like other children, she had to spend most of the time either studying, doing homework, or just sleep.
Life wasn't easier then she had earlier expected. It may seem that a special needs school but actually FOR FUCK SAKE they have to follow the same syllabus in her class- she just has a bloody leg problem, not a brain problem, or like a mental disability.
After all, she still gets bullied about her current situation. But hey, as she grows up she learns how to overcome her fear of the fucking bullies she encounter, she learns how not to be a chibai to people, she actually learns that the only way to have it solved is just to... ignore.
To make friends, all she can do is to either make friends who has the same condition with her, or actually even worse. But she did not look at the people's problems, but instead she decided to look at their strengths.
