MY SAVIOUR

Remember

At night, near the fire watching the embers

When you told me I was all you had

We had each other, and for that I was glad

When they would insult

You were there with a catapult

Ready to blast anyone who said a word

But then, everything got blurred

I woke up, and you weren't the same

Your mind was to blame

You told me I wasn't good

Still the earth stood

I thought of you

When my face turned blue

And my wrists shone red

While I was asleep in my bed
