Now listen here, everything I've done has been wrong. I've not done a single goddam thing right. All I ask of anyone who finds and reads this note remember the one good that I did. It was two years ago, 2051. I was twenty six years old and had spent the last eight years slaughtering those that didn't pass judgement positively. I met this man named Neeko Plissken, now this man was very kind to me, the first in four years. Neeko invited me into his home and offered dinner, I kindly refused, but he insisted so Neeko and I were friends near immediately. For the next two years were inseparable. I told him everything, everything I've done and everything I was to do. He supported me and told me it don't matter, we were friends and other stuff like that. That's just a little backstory on how me and Mr. Plissken became acquainted. Now for the one goddam good deed.
Last night we were put under siege and it's my fault. I knew that there were people tracking us and that we should've just kept moving. We stopped at an old apartment building and spent the night. I slept first and Neeko kept guard. When I awoke it was about three am. We had to do this because three years earlier international chemical warfare killed off most major cities and the infected roamed the streets, I want to clarify that these weren't zombies but rather people that have gone off their rockers due to the chemicals used. Anyway we were tracked down and the people surrounding us weren't friendly in the slightest, we kinda deserved it because we had robbed and killed one of their members, but that's not important. I awoke to him whispering about something outside. I had said to him before I drifted off that he should wake me if anything were to happen. We had to surrender, there was no possible way we could fight our way out of it. We walked out with our hands up, no other choices. We were taken into custody by The Order, and from that moment we were prisoners of The Order, the biggest corporation in the United States of Armageddon, clever name I thought. We were scared out of our minds, but remained stoic in the presence of the corporate junkies. Now we had to plot our escape, we thought but it's nearly impossible to break free of these men. In order to do so we would need a sacrifice. That's why I'm writing this, I'm letting everyone know that Maverick Lamber still resonates within Maverick X, he still fights. The plan went as follows, we were to go to the gym for exercise and that's where I'd kill a few guards and get them all on me making Neeko get out of this mess, we chose him to live because it'd be easier for me to kill a guard than him. I'm sending this note with Neeko, if you find this in the gutter or trash, or if he gives it to you, or if you steal it, it doesn't matter. Just tell my story, spread the word, clear my name, please.
