The Real Mr.Perfect
Loneliness that’s what I have earned in my lifetime. And I have earned it in this damn place, I have lost my parents, my Chico and my buttercup in this place. They were the only people who showered love to me.. My parents and my Chico went away from me when I was just eight years old. And I lost my buttercup, she also left me when i was 21. Now 3 years had passed and I am dying each and every day because of loneliness. Now I am afraid to fall in love because I may lose them too. Why this place is very interested in taking away the loved ones away from us?? I have come here more than hundred times hoping that it would take me to my beloved ones. But I think that this place had become so fond of me that it is not allowing me to go to my beloved ones. Whenever I am sad, I come here and I beg it to take me to my beloved ones. But it does not do so. Why?? If I want I could end my life by drinking poison, hanging or by cutting my wrist. But I wish to end my life the same way as my beloved ones.
With all this thoughts in her mind and with tears trailing down her eyes, looks at the sky and tells”Happy birthday Chico. Do u know what is your birthday gift?? The gift is, today I am going to come to u.. I am going to be with u forever.” Saying this she goes to jump inside the sea from the luxurious ship she was travelling in. But somebody patted on her shoulders and said” You shouldn’t do that Pragya beta.”Pragya” Ram uncle.. Aap?{you} Pragya looked surprised at Ram uncle. Ram uncle was the chef who is the chef in luxurious ships. He had been like a father to Pragya and had given his advice whenever she was in any dilemma. Pragya would come to ship whenever she feel sad. As Ram uncle would be there every time, they both were familiar to each other.
Ram uncle” Pragya beta this is the 25th time that I have saved you from doing a hellish thing. Pragya” Uncle. It may be hellish but I will be happy if I die.Ram uncle”Pragya chup! Don’t speak like a idiot.Pragya gave a faint smile. Pragya” Uncle, u have cared me like a father for these three years. But I am afraid that I will lose u too.. Please uncle, don’t shower your love on me. Then this place will take me away from me too. Ram uncle”Stop behaving like a child Pragya. After all u are like..no You are my daughter.Dont worry. Everything will be fine. Pragya” Nothing will be fine uncle. Today I have money and everything which is needed to lead a luxurious life.. But I don’t have the most important thing in my life.. Relations. Whenever I see a child walking with her mother, I long for mothers love.. When I see a child sitting happily on her father’s lap. I miss my childhood when my father used to treat me as his princess. And. and she start to sob. Ram uncle consoles her...Ram uncle” Don’t worry Pragya beti... Past is Past. Move onto your life beta... Have hope beti. “Pragya”Hope?? Hope.. and she gives a faint smile.
Ram uncle” No beti.. do you know why destiny is not allowing you to end your life?? There is a beautiful life waiting for you in the near future. Pragya”No Uncle..I. Ram uncle” Chup..Bilkul chup{ Shut up.} Now you promise upon me that u will never do this silly thing again.. Pragya” But Uncle..” Ram uncle drags her hand keeps it on his head.. Now. Come and have your Lunch. And he goes. Pragya nods her head hopelessly.
Pragya is a marine engineer. She has become a chief engineer within a short period of time. She earns Rs. 8 lakh per month. She has lost her parents and brother {whom she tells Chico} as ship drowned in sea when they was travelling in a ship to Andaman . She was saved and was sent to a Orphanage home. Their she was adopted by Tanu’s parents [whom she mentions buttercup}.She was leading a happy life with them. But, in the same cruise journey She lost them like she lost her parents. So, she hates ship and sea very much. As Tanu loved marine engineering very much, she joined with her without any interest. But now she thinks that it was right that one day or the other she will also die how her beloved ones died..
Next morning..
Pragya wakes up as the sun rays disturbs her sleep. When she comes out to take the milk packets, she notices a gift with a paper pinned lying outside the door. Pragya” Not again” She reads it..
