Our Beginning

I look at every relationship as if it were a book. Sometimes the genre stays the same, but most often than not, it intertwines with many. It could be about a friend relationship with a dash of drama, trials and troubles in a friendship, or a more than a friend relationship. It all depends on what happens between you and that other person.

Quite honestly, I am terrified to give even a small portion of my heart to anyone. To trust them with something so valuable to me. Thus, I find myself in a panic when I begin to notice an individual. It's not the thought of being unable to control it that scares me, but more the possibility that I could get hurt more than I already have been.

We only had a few short glaces at each other, and now each time we make eye contact, your cheeks turn a slight shade of pink. I could see you immediately turn your head away, and smile to yourself. That was the only contact we really had with each other. Now the eye contact has turned into conversations with one another. You now ask for my advice and opinion on certain issues in your life. Though you don't open up to anyone else, you open up to me of all people. I find myself trying to pull back, not allow myself to go further than I should, only to end in vain.

I cannot ignore the fact that there has been a little spark in my heart. The troubling thing is though, I do not know how to be rid of it. I fear it may only grow stronger and brighter within me. You're doing this, and you've seen the effects it has had on me.

But we hardly know each other. For we have known each other mostly by expressing through our own eyes. I do not know your story, and you know not my own. But your eyes tell me much about you, as I'm sure my own have told you much as well.

I'm coming out clean, and you already know what about. That little spark is still there, just waiting for more to come. The spark is waiting to turn into a blazing fire within me. I know nothing about you, and you know nothing about me. We've started something with much space between each other, without having to speak a word.

So why don't you say we start to know each other? Let's really talk. Let's start from the beginning of this book. This book starts with a spark, let's turn it into a sparked friendship. It's up to us what happens after that. We can decide the ending of this book ourselves. For now, let's focus on where we are.

As I have said before, I see every relationship as a book.

Let's start this one right.
