~Intro~
9 puppets are made by a scientist and get split. up there all alive but they dont even knnow anything. meanwhlie the place there at is in war and must find shelter to stratigize. they all have names, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 9 whille the scientist was making the last puppet (9) he died in the process. they all have special characteristics, 1 is mean and selfish but throgh the end he gets nicer and wears a red cape and a crown and is old. 2 is very inventive, nice and is old but not as old as 1 . 3 and 4 are twins and cant talk but have exellent memory and they can blink their eyes quickly and project pictures. 5 is 9's bestfriend is is caring. 6 can talk but not alot he really only draws pictures of the source and says 'the source'. 7 is the only girl and is extreamly brave and determined. 8 is big and carries a steak knife around with him (remember their puppets). 9 is the main character and is very curious about whats going on in this nightmare of a world. adventually they all find eachother and now their exactly where the giant killing robot thing wants them. all together. the robot makes smaller animal shaped robots to try and defeat the puppet unfourtunatly 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 die now its up to 1, 5, 7, and 9 to take down the killer robot. they acomplish their task but 1 and 5 die. at the end of the book 7 and 9 gather around the ''source'' and say their goodbyes to the other puppets spirits. and no one knows what happens to 7 and 9.......
