I'm sitting in the living room on my phone and I hear a loud crash in the kitchen. I get up and walkover to the door way and there is a broken glass on the ground and blood surrounding it.
"Josh are you okay?" I ask. I step more in the kitchen to see how bad the cut is.
" Don't step any closer I don't want you to step on a piece of glass." Josh says. I stop moving and listen to him even though I really want to run up to him to see how badly hurt he is.
"Okay, why don't you come over here so I can see how badly you cut yourself." I tell him. He walks around the glass and I take his hand that is not hurt and lead him upstairs. We go into his room and in his bath room and he sits in the chair next to the sink. He puts his hand over the sink so the blood drips into it instead of on the floor.
"What were you doing in the kitchen Josh?" I ask in a firm and calm voice.
" I was going to us drinks but something happened. I kind of blacked out at that moment and the next thing I remember was you coming in the kitchen" He says.
" Has this ever happened before? The Black outs I mean?" I ask examining his hand.
" Yes, once before when I was watching you. I was in my car outside your school and I blacked out and when I woke up I was outside some gas station. I don't remember any of it." He says.
"Um, yours hand should be fine the cuts not to deep. That's scary to think about, just waking up in some random place not knowing how I got there." I say applying pressure with a towel I found in the cabinet next to the sink.
"It scared the living hell out of me. I don't know what I did in the time I was out." He said.
" Do you have a first aid kit anywhere?" I ask.
" Yes, in the hall there's a closet on the right it's on the bottom shelf. It's bright red you shouldn't miss it" He says.
"Alright keep holding pressure on it wheel I go get it." I tell him. I walk into the hall and look for a closet one th e right hand side of the hall. I open it up and bend down to the bottom shelf and I see the bright red kit and as I grab it something falls off the shelf above me. It looks like a note of some sort.
" Did you find it?" yells Josh.
" Uh, Yes." I say shoving the note in my pocket.
I run back down the hall in josh's bathroom to help him. " Okay take the towel off your hand so I can look at it again." I say. He complies and I grab his hand again and loo it over. I open the first aid kit and grab neosporin and a big band aid for the cut. I clean it first using water then i rub the ointment on it and apply the band aid.
" You'r going to make such a great mom one day" He says holdingg my hand in his.
" Thanks. So what do you want to do today because it's only like 10 in the morning and we should do something." I say.
" Um, you want to go out for breakfast and maybe go ini golfing I know a really cool place!" He says.
" Siunds like fun, let me change and ill meet you in 15 minutes downstairs?" I ask.
"Sounds good to me." He says standing up. Before I leave he room I am engulfed in a hug from Josh.
" Thanks for taking care of me" he says.
" That's what girlfriends are for." I say.
I leave his room and go into mine. I shut the door behind me and walk over to the dresser to find what I am going to wear today. I pick out pair of jeans and a tight fitting black t-shirt and a dark brown leather jacket with a tan belt. I brush my hair and wear it up today. I look in the mirror and I look okay, I usually wear make up but there is none here so I have to go without. I put on a pair of boots and walk downstairs to meet josh who is sitting on the couch on his phone.
" Hey, ready to go?" I ask.
"Yeah" He says as he stands up. He comes really close to my ear and whispers " You look really goo in those jeans" He says.
I smile and follow him out to the car hoping he's not seeing the goofy smile that is on my face. Josh makes me happy.
HELLO EVERYONE! I AM SO HAPPY TO UPDATE THIS STORY! I KNOW IT HAS BEEN A WHILE AND IT"S NOT A VERY LONG CHAPTER BUT IT"S AN UPDATE. I WILL BE UPDATING MORE NOW BECAUSE ALL OF MY SPORTS ARE DONE WITH AT THE MOMENT. I HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY THE CHAPTER-H
