only in dreams
when the worlds asleep
and reality fades away
I am where I truly belong
only in dreams
amongst fields of lavendar
can I rest beneath the world
and levitate between the elements
only in dreams
can I reach toward the sky
a star in my hand
and let it fall without shattering
only in dreams
can I not be bothered
or worried
or fretful
and I am myself
only in dreams

because their just dreams
destined to die with time
and never come true
