The Journey of a Christian

Those who know me

Those who don't

Have seen the change

That God has done.

In the way I act,

In the way I live

People are wondering

Where I've been.

I tell them hidden,

With the lies given

By a deceitful liar

A skillful sinner.

No need to be worried

Or be saddened

I've been saved by God

With his truth I'm empowered.

He came to my heart

When I needed the most,

God's timing is perfect

With Him I'm not alone.

He spoke to my ear

Making me feel Him near,

God's presence is powerful

Takes away all fear.

With God by my side

There's no turning back

The enemy will try,

But will fail no matter what.

Faith above all

Will be required

Living like God

Should be my desire.

In the walk with God

That I aspire

I need in my heart

That driven fire.

I will continue the purpose

Given to me by God

Trusting in Him

It will come to pass.

Understanding that I'm not alone,

I'm one of many in His plan

Part of a massive revolution

Guided by His righteous hand.
