(Jamie's POV)

Today is the day Anastasia drags Christian to his mothers grave. I can assure you I love my work and I don't have any problem when I have to wake up early to do it but I'm not looking forward to it today.

(7am) The alarm clock goes off and I hit the snooze button – Not yet. – I tell myself.

Jamie, are you up? – I hear a knock on my door followed by a voice. I lazily wake up and check my phone, it's still 7:05am, I could sleep some more but they will probably kill me if I'm late. I head to the bathroom to take a quick shower.

As soon as I leave my trailer I see Erika walking my way.

- Hey Jamie, how are you feeling today?

- Good, I guess. – Erika knows what happened, everyone knows what happened but I don't need them to always talk about the same thing.

- Alright honey, you better go to hair and makeup now, you don't wanna be late, the sooner we get this scene shot, the better, Dakota is probably almost ready.

- You're right, I'll see you around.

When I open the trailers door, Dakota is on the other side doing the same thing so she can leave, we almost hit heads and like usually we laugh it out.

- Look where you're going Dornan. – She says between giggles and, before I can answer, her makeup artist says, pointing at Dakota: - and you don't ruin your makeup with your tears. – which only makes her laugh even more.

- Good morning to you too Dakota. – I reach out to hug her like we do every morning, everyone is so used to it by now. – I need to get ready so if you don't mind stepping out of the way I'd be very happy. – I say with the biggest smile on my face.

- He's all yours. – she says to the hair stylist as she turns to walk away.

It doesn't take me long to get ready but when I'm out Dakota is already on her way to set so I start making my way there. When I get there I see Dakota talking to someone but I can't figure out who. As I'm making my way there I realize it's her mom and for some reason a tear streams down my face. I try to dry it as fast as possible but not fast enough for Dakota not to notice it.

- Hey, what's wrong? – she says reaching for my cheek.

- You know, it's nothing. Hey Mel. – I reach to kiss her cheek and see Dakota walking away from us.

- Hello darling, how are you? Tough night?

- More like tough day ahead. But I'm fine, thanks, how are you?

- I'm good, Dakota asked me to come visit her and I couldn't say no.

- Well, I'm glad you're here, Dakota is very lucky. Hm Mel? Did she tell you why she wanted you to be here?

- Maybe. You know she adores you right? I can leave if you want me to but she was just doing what she thought was best.

- No, please stay, I'm really glad you're here. – Another tear escapes and Melanie embraces me in a hug and suddenly the single tear turns into a sob and I can't control my emotions.

- Oh honey, it's okay, I'm not your mother, I'm well aware, no one will ever replace her but I must say that I'm very glad to welcome you to the family, and so is Don and everyone else. The situation was complicated, still is but I've never seen Dakota look this happy next to anyone. We all love you and I know today will be a hard day but Dakota is here for you, and so am I. Maybe we could have dinner, you and me tonight? Oh, and please don't tell Dakota or else she'll be mad at me for taking you away from you for 2 seconds.

- Yeah Mel, sounds good. – I chuckle because she is right. – But that means I'll have to deal with her afterwards, I'm blaming it all on you.

- Go ahead honey but I can assure you she won't stay mad at you for long. – It's Mels turn to laugh now.

- Thank you Melanie, your words mean a lot to me.

As we finish talking Dakota is making her way towards us. – Hey, what were you talking about?

– Oh you know, nothing. – And with that Mel leaves us so we can start filming and Dakota doesn't look too happy with that answer but I just smile at her and prepare myself for the scene that we're about to film.
