One smile is all that it took.
So genuine and true,
I must be falling for you.
You approached me first,
Stomach felt like it was about to burst.
Butterflies inside,
Feelings won't subside.
Contemplating if you should know,
If I should tell you or not.
Perhaps I'm just afraid, afraid that I might hear a "no."
All these thoughts in my head, don't know what to do.
Then one faithful day came,
Gathered up the courage to say:
"I like you and only you I like."
Was nervous when you didn't respond, I felt like I was going mad.
But then you opened your mouth,
words had come out.
You said it with a smile and now I know that you feel,
The same way as I have been.
