*Regular POV*

A loud thud from behind caught everyone in the classroom’s attention. Luke had flipped over his desk, before storming out of the classroom. The teacher ran across the room and followed Luke into the hall. Loud punches to the wall and lockers were heard, and multiple gasps filled the room. I ran to the doorway, watching Luke punch the wall once again, breaking some of the plaster. “Calm down Mr. Hemmings. Come back to class,” instructed our teacher, Mr. Phillips.

Next thing I knew, Luke swung and Mr. Phillips lay on the ground. I looked up, shaken, and Luke’s eyes found mine. In his blue eyes were tears, and I took a step closer to him reaching out to him. He took another step farther away from me. “Don’t you fucking dare, (Y/N). I don’t need your pity.” He said, almost a growl. My hand stayed out until it fell to my side. “Luke…I—”

“Stop, I don’t want to hear it! I don’t care if you don’t love me, I already know you don’t. But don’t you dare say you never wanted me or that I was a mistake. You know for a damn fact that that’s the reason Ashton is protecting you. You know he’s not even protecting you, right? You know he’s only intimidated by me, right? He’s scared that you’re going to want me more than him. He’s insecure. I’m not. I’m not saying that I can give you a happy ending or the things he can, but I would’ve tried.

But I’m not good enough for you right? I’m just a teenage dirtbag to you. So you know what (Y/N)?! Fuck you! I don’t need you, babe, and I was stupid to think I ever did.” He yelled, walking off and outside of the building. I stood there in shock, his words hitting me like a ton of bricks. I needed to leave. I couldn’t be here anymore. I turned around to see the whole class in the doorway, either looking at me or at Mr. Phillips as he lay asleep on the ground. I walked past them, grabbed my backpack and left.

I lay down in my bed the rest of the afternoon, staring up at my ceiling. A knock on my bedroom door made me look away. “Hey sweetie, Ashton is here, should I let him in?” my mom asked, putting on an earring. I gave her a nod. “Okay (Y/N). I’m going out tonight with your father. I’m leaving $20 in case you get hungry.” I sat up on the bed as Ash came into the room. My mom gave us a wave goodbye, and closed the door behind her.

“Hey (Y/N), why’d you leave school early; are you feeling sick?” he asked, sitting beside me on the bed. “No, I’m fine Ash. I just couldn’t stand to be there any longer. Plus, I have a lot on my mind.”

        “Such as?”

“It’s not important.” He shrugged at my response, and leaned in to kiss me lovingly on the lips. “I can take your mind off of it…” he cooed, moving his large hand on my breast, rubbing them then squeezing them in his palms.
