Right after Kadence vanished
Ethan's POV
"KADENCE!" I screamed throwing myself around my room trying to find him. A knock at the door paralyzed me in my tracks as my moms voice rung in the air. "Ethan sweetie is everything alright....., what happened to Kadence, can you open the door please" she said. Thick black thundering smoke began to erupt around me and it seeped out of the floorboards. Her soothing voice couldn't calm me anymore this was Damian's fault. I laughed menacingly I wasn't loosing Kadence again I was going to kill Damian if it took my last breath I sniffed and nuzzled my way through my bed trying to pick up Kadence's scent so I could track it to wherever he was. "Ethan honey let me in" my mom started fumbling with the locked doorknob. "One sec mom I'm trying to put on some clothes do you really wanna see this!" I hollered back and she stopped. I cracked open my window and lightning cracked around me. I quickly leaped out of my window riding the heavy black clouds out as the door frame busted open and the door went flying across the room. Kadence was as good as mine.

Kadence's POV
I didn't know what it was about waking up next to Damian that made me blush and giggle so much but I really didn't care "Damian?" I said and rolled over to face him. "Babe y-your naked again" I giggled and slid into his arms pulling him tight. He pushed the golden flecks of fallen hair out of my eyes then pecked me on the lips before getting up. "Ah come on" I said expecting him to be more playful than that. Once he had his boxers on I extended my pointer finger and pulled it towards me. A smirk plastered its way onto my lips and as I repeatedly pulled my finger closer Damian got a little closer. I stood up on the bed as he had gotten so close that his thighs were pressed up against the side of the bed. I was about a head taller than him and I squealed as he picked me up and hung me over his left shoulder. "DAMIAN!!!" I laughed and lightly pounded my fists on his back. His left hand held me in place and held my ass as he walked across the room towards the closet.

"back in the closet you go scoundrel" he said lying me down on the fallen clothes in the closet. His face was so close to mine and all I wanted to do was lie there and make out with him, never letting go. My arms went over his shoulders as a way of saying "look i'm not letting go babe" He was on his knees with his chest hovering almost over mine. His left hand was helping hold him up and he slowly pulled back his right hand to his hip. "wait what're you do-NOOO" I yelled as his right hand attacked me with tickles. I went into a frenzy of curls and trying to grab his hand. "D-Damian stahp!!!" I yelled out laughing and I reached up and kissed him instantly stopping his tickling. I did it again and sat up making him move as well. I was advancing and he was slowly leaning backwards placing his hands behind him to hold himself up. "your so hot when your giving up babe" I said climbing onto his lap as he laid back on the ground and I sat just above his crotch.

"Boy's? is everything o-" Damian's dad opened the door and was cut off as Damian flew forward yelling "AARRGGHHH" tackling me to the floor with tickles. "D-Damian a-again!" I yelled out laughing and he stopped, chuckling to himself. Damian snapped with his right hand a pair of sweatpants appeared on his body "whats up dad?" Damian said standing up. As they began conversing I slowly crawled back in bed under the covers. Damian musky smell lingered under the covers with my and I casually gripped the covers in my hands curling up into a ball. "Kadence baby what, what are you doing" Damian said laughing a little" in a muffled tone I groaned. "I'm never leaving the bed ever it's not like we have anything to do anymore". Damian's dad spoke up "we've been tracking a system of paranormal events which has been good my in a straight line towards...." he paused "straight towards us" my breath caught up in my throat and Damian slowly sat down next to me. I was still under the covers.

"It's Ethan" I murmur "well our calculations predict he'll be here in under 24 hours storming the house with his Demons" Damian's dad replied. "But I mean your lucipher your the frickin lord of the underworld right you can stop him? Can't you?" I say pulling the covers off of me and sitting up. Damian's dad lowered his head a little and said "I'm sorry boys this is going to sound harsh but, but this is a you problem if u helped create the problem then u need to fix it yourselves I'll help u a little but you have to be the ones to fix this" Damian's dad slowly trailed off as he stepped out of the room. "Well I guess we have something to do now..." I said climbing out of bed. My feet hit the carpet below me and I Damian's hands went to my arms. I looked down and found myself standing in a pool of blood.

I looked back up and gasped as it wasn't Damian's hands clutching my shoulders as a matter of fact Damian was lying on the ground with his skull cracked open. "I looked down at him tears streaming down my hot cheeks the room was freezing and the only heat was coming from the hands gripping my body. The hands let go and a black cloth went over my eyes. I was fully awake and a body pressed against mine as my thighs pushed up against the bed. "D-Damian that better be y-you" I whimpered and a hot breath next to my right ear made me shiver. "I'm coming for you" a soft voice creeped past my ear and I opened my eyes as I he laughed and faded away. Damian was standing across the room pulling something out of his dresser. That's when I started bawling I didn't mean to cry I didn't want to but now I knew I had to keep him safe from Ethan.
