Run for your life (BVB VS Z SEQUEL) (DISCONTINUED)

Chapter 5

We walk through the house, checking the kitchen for any food or water. This house was practically picked dry, but the boys did find some clothes they could wear. They seemed happy to be out of all that leather.

Ashley had on black skinny jeans and a pair of brown boots, and a grey shirt. Talk about New York style...

Cc came out of the room with a black bandana around his hair, with black jeans and a black muscle shirt. He kept his normal black vans.

Andy came out in a football jersey and black skinny jeans, only he had on white vans.

Lastly, was Jinnx, he had on a white V-neck and grey jeans with black boots.

We ended up leaving the house with nothing new, which worries me to an extent, what if we are fucked either way and there's nothing anywhere?

"It's fine guys, there's still a whole street to cover." Cc says, trying to motivate us.

"Yeah, with all these houses we can find something..." Andy mumbles, but honestly, I think he's telling himself more than us.

"Should we split up?" Wendy asked, Jinxx shakes his head no.

"Not yet, we have too much unchecked, after that we can discuss what happens next." He says, we walk to the house next door, and thank god the door was unlocked. We all walk inside, things were strewn about like the people here left in a hurry.

I walk to the kitchen, doing the same scavenging I have to do in order to live nowadays. Ashley, as usual, was with me and he was checking inside the cabinets for any non-perishables. I open the large pantry and my jaw drops.

"Babe what's wro- holy shit." Ashley says, we stare in awe at the cans lining the shelves, I grab a can of spaghettios and the expiration date says March 2020.

"What year is it?!" I say, Ashley shrugs.

"Definitely not 2020." He says, reaching for a can of peaches. "Then again, I really have no clue." he adds on.

"Let's find a can opener and call the others down." I suggest, he nods and starts re-opening the drawers and cabinets.

"Hey guys! We're eating good tonight!" I call, Cc is the first to run in, laughing as he does so.

"I like the sound of that." He beams, grabbing some canned ravioli.

"Found a can opener!" Ashley screams happily, we all cheer.

"This is amazing, there's enough to last months!" Andy says, smiling.

"What should we do now?" Wendy asks.

"Lets wait and see what else we find, then ration it out in the end. Everyone gets it evenly, no exceptions unless we decide as a group it's okay." Jinxx says, taking leadership once again.

"But we do have more houses, should we only eat from one house at a time?" Ashley asks, everyone shrugs.

"Maybe we can all pick a house and then see what's all left, then spread it all out evenly, and after that everyone can have their own food and house?" I suggest, they all seem pleased with my idea.

"First come first serve?" Andy asks, we all nod, Cc bolts out the front door violently.

"HEY NO FAIR." Andy yells, chasing him, followed by Jinxx and Wendy.

"I guess we get this house, unless you wanna go look at the others?" Ashley asks, I shrug.

"I'm fine with whatever, but I mean we already claimed our room, so maybe it'll just be easier for us to stay." I answer.

Cc ended up being our neighbor, his house had a little food, but nothing compared to the pantry. Andy had the other side of us, but his house was picked dry. Jinxx was right across the street from us, his house was also stocked up with food like ours. Wendy had the house next to Jinxx, her house empty of anything edible.

We all pack up what food we had and brought it back to our house, sorting out all the cans so each person had an even amount, then doing the same with the food from Jinxx's and Cc's houses.

After everyone got their fair share of food, they all went back to their respected houses to call it a night, as the sun was setting.

"I'm glad that we ended up this lucky." I say, Ashley lays down.

"Me too." He says as he sighs, I lay next to him and close my eyes. I feel protected as sleep over comes me.

When I enter my dream, I am standing on a beach, the waves clash. The sky is a beautiful bright blue, a perfect sunny day.

I stare at a large forest in front of me, something draws me to it. I take a step forward and a mountain grows rapidly, the top becoming hidden by the clouds.

I start moving forward and hear a howl in the distance. One half of the sky begins to turn black, and suddenly a feeling of uneasiness settles in my stomach. I am frozen with fear at first, however my fear is drained as a circle of white light surrounds me, engulfing me almost.

The half of the sky remains black, and looking at that half of the world still frightens me, but I enter the forest, wanting to get to the top of the mountain as soon as possible for some unknown reason.

The forest seems never ending until I get to a small river going in the direction to the mountain. I look around in the water as a wooden little boat appeared in the water. I peer through the trees as the boat carries me along the river, I feel compelled to look behind me as we go. I cautiously turn, catching a glimpse of what seemed like a white tail.

Everything around me suddenly changed, the boat stops and I get out. The mountain is now very close. My skin is beginning to glow almost, the same white light from the beach is now reflecting off of my skin. I walk through shrubs on the forest floor and get to the bottom of the mountain, it looked impossible to climb with no proper equipment, with it being so suddenly steep upwards.

I start to grow dizzy and fall back, the world spins as my back hits the floor the last thing I see are bright, red eyes.

I wake up, gasping for air. What kinda dream was that?
