The Dead (They Woke Up Again....)[ON HOLD]

Chapter 7

There was a commotion in the back,behind the car.

Elizabeth was the first to notice. She turned around in order to see what was going on. All the others were busy talking.

As Elizabeth turned around, she wanted to scream but....couldn't. She started shaking and her palms were sweating.

What did she see?

"Guys!! Look behind!!!" Screamed Elizabeth

"Holy shit!" Gasped Mark

There were thousand or even ten thousand creatures following them, all covered in blood.

They were limping, trying their best to reach the car.

They all together were making an unpleasant sound. They were scary as hell.

"Gaah! Gwah! Grrr"

Their sound was totally indescribable....

They looked like humans. But are humans blue? Are humans alive even when they don't have their heads? Are humans that much scary in their appearance?? No. Well, that means they aren't humans.

What type of crazy maniacs come together in a large group, run after a car, limping and looking extremely injured and scary? Not normal at all.

"Who are they!?" Screamed Victoria

"What if they are this person's friend or something?" Said Elizabeth.

"Yeah, they all look same and strange though." Agreed Matt.

"What!?" Said Jake."Like seriously!? What is happening? We just got in an accident, got an scary as hell body In our backseat and now some crazy things are running after us! Now what's gonna happen next? Will we see a Fish climbing a tree or dead bodies playing X-Box right next to their graves, huh!?"

They all were hyperventilating. But what could they do? Imagine driving in dark through a road that is so lonely, with scary trees, cold atmosphere, howling of wolves, passing by graveyards and getting Chased by some creatures which you don't even know about?You won't just act cool and play some rock music. But rather die of shivering right there, won't ya?

"Look, I really don't know what's all of this but all I want is that Matt! For God's sake drive fast!!"

Matt just nodded and accelerated.

Elizabeth turned around. She was scared and nervous. She couldn't believe what she was seeing. She felt as if she was really in a horror movie. She watched till the creatures were out of sight.She hugged the pillow which, she brought, and moved it closer to her chest. She felt as if this is the end.

She felt a squeeze on her hand. She looked up to see Victoria smiling at her, but fear obvious in her expression.

And then Elizabeth's eyes fell on the book. Her hands were shaking, which made it harder for her to take the book.

"This can't be happening" Elizabeth whispered to herself.

This is just the beginning...

After a while of driving, they reached a small squared building, with a dirty and almost invisible "HOSPITAl" written on the top-center.

The main door was very old and rusty. The walls had rusted paints and old drawings.

It looked as if no one had visited this place since many years.

"Are you sure this is the right place?" asked Elizabeth scanning the place with wide eyes, showing curiosity and fear at the same time.

"This is the best we could find." Sighed Matt "Let's go inside."

Mark and Jake were holding the body. The body's arms were placed around Jake's and Mark's shoulder. Their faces showed a look of disgust.

"Ready guys?" Asked Matt.

Everyone nodded and headed towards the door except Eliza. Everything felt wrong, strange and familiar for Elizabeth. Since the start of the trip she has this strange feeling which cannot be described by words.

Suddenly someone grabbed her arm and Liz looked up to see Victoria.

"Come on Eliza. Its gonna be alright." Said Victoria.

Elizabeth just smiled and headed towards the door, following her brother's lead.

As they went inside, they were welcomed by darkness and a nasty smell. Elizabeth was wanted to go back but she couldn't...

After a while they were struck by lightning and now they could see a normal hospital. No one was there and there was an uncomfortable silence.

"Hello! Anyone there?" Shouted Mark.

And suddenly an old man appeared, who was dressed as a doctor.
He had a stethoscope around his neck and his ID showed the name "Dr. Grant". He just looked at them with wide eyes and he slowly smiled, showing his wrinkles.

" You.....You..."

They all just looked at the doctor in confusions and finally Jake spoke:

"I am sorry, but you can continue stuttering later. We just got into an accident and took this person here for checkup. So we'll really appreciate of you hurry up."

The doctor just looked at the body and moved closer to it. He examined the body carefully before squealing and his squeal was a bit cracky.

He looked at Elizabeth and then to all the others before looking down. And his next words were totally confusing and strange;

"You all are stuck in this haunted place......"
